"Youngjoo and BeomCheol are fighting?!"

We all started to run wherever the other students were going and once we found the crowd I pushed myself through and saw BeomCheol throw a punch at Youngjoo who looked like he was one punch away from death. Looking at the door I saw both of BeomCheol's friends standing in front of it. "Move over." I said but they both stopped me from getting in. "Why? Are you scared that your little boyfr-OW!" I kicked both of them in the shins and pushed them aside and slide the door open.

Running over I pushed BeomCheol away from Youngjoo and shielded him with my own body. "Move!" BeomCheol yelled trying to find a way to hit Youngjoo. "JiAhn you're gonna get hurt.." Youngjoo whispered and lightly tried to move me away from BeomCheol. "No. If you're gonna hurt him, you're gonna have to deal with me first." I said then BeomCheol let out a scoff then grabbed my broken wrist and due to the pain I let out a scream. "Let go!" I yelled but the look on BeomCheol's face seemed like he was frozen and couldn't let go of the grip on my wrist; it slowly felt like he was about to snap my wrist in half. No matter how many times I yelled he didn't let go until our homeroom teachers came barging in along with the schools police.

Even though the grip on my wrist was gone I still felt it then I soon felt nothing at all. I didn't even realize I had tears flowing down my cheeks. I snapped out of my thoughts and looked over to Youngjoo he looked like he was about to pass out. "JiAhn! Are you okay?!" They asked but my gaze was still fixed on Youngjoo and how the the guys helped him up and soon I was brought up into my feet. I looked around and saw that everyone was just watching us and not caring if any of us were severely hurt. I continued to stare at Youngjoo all the way until we were both seated in the nurses office getting treated.

"I called your uncle since he was your emergency contact. You're gonna need to go to the hospital." I nodded and watched as the other nurse finished placing the last bandage on Youngjoo. "Are you okay?" I asked once the nurse left the room. He didn't utter a word which made me feel uneasy but when he looked up his eyes were filled with hurt.

"I..told you to go. Now look you're hurt." He said but before I could respond our homeroom teacher came and took Youngjoo out of the room. "Take care." He said before leaving me alone in the nurses room. Soon enough the door opened revealing my uncle. "Uncle Mincheol?" I didn't expect him to be here I thought it would've been my uncle Jiseok or uncle Minhyuk. "We'll talk later. Let's get you to the hospital." I nodded and silently followed him out of the nurses office and out to his car. Many of the other students stared at me but the only thing I could worry about was Youngjoo.

After getting into Uncle Mincheol's car it was silent and all you could hear was the sound of the other cars passing by. "Why are you like this? Why are you kids like this?" He said as we stopped at the stoplight. I turned over to him and saw that he had the look of disappointment written all over his face. "I..i was trying to protect my friend.." I said and he just nodded and continued driving. This isn't the side of uncle Mincheol I like to see, usually every time I see him he has a smile on his face and we were able to crack some jokes but this time it was different.

At the hospital they concluded that my wrist is indeed broken and that I might have to comeback to see if any surgery is needed. "If things still don't look okay after next months check up, you're gonna have to get some surgery okay? For now just keep the cast on with the arm sling okay." I nodded and they helped me place my arm with the cast on into a little sling that will hold my arm in position.

After thanking the doctor I walked out to find uncle Mincheol on the phone and once we made eye contact he stood up and I followed him back to the car. "Your dad just sent money to your account. He said only touch that money if it's for medical needs with your wrist." I nodded and he started to drive me home, but on the way he stopped at my favorite place to eat. "I'm sorry." I apologized while we waited for the food.
