Sneaking

That night Ron stayed awake in bed thinking of how he could get Evelyn to talk to him again. He never felt this way about anyone before. He felt like he needed to talk to her.

He came to a conclusion to follow her around a bit. Then he could learn more about what she likes, who her friends are, and where she goes so he could "accidentally" bump into her. 'Isn't that stalking?' He thought to himself. 'Well as long as I don't get caught it'll be okay. If she notices me following her around it might scare her off even more'

The next morning he first saw her at breakfast. She was sitting alone again. 'Hmm doesn't she have friends to sit with?' He thought.

"Ron!" Said Hermione while she waved her hand up and down over his face. "What's got you so spaced out today. I said, did you finish your essay? It's due today."

"Er- no I didn't. I'll work on it after breakfast." He said while still watching Evelyn. She was reading a book. The same book he picked up that made her mad. What is with that book anyway that would make her run away?

Hermione followed his gaze to the table where Evelyn sat with empty seats around her. "Ohh, this is about that girl from yesterday, isn't it?"

"No. I was just. Er- thinking about what to write In the rest of my essay. And I stared of into space." He replied.

Harry rolled his eyes and said, "there's no need to deny that you like her. But don't just stare at her. It's creepy. Try talking to her again.

After eating, Ron stood and stared walking confidently towards her, but before he came close, she stood and left. He thought 'should I follow her or go back to Harry and Hermione?' At last minute before she was gone from sight, he decided to follow.

He kept following her through the corridor. She went into the girls bathroom first so he slowed his walk and stood farther back in the hall. She left the bathroom and headed towards the door to outside. He followed her outside, keeping his distance.

She kept walking farther and farther from Hogwarts. 'Where is she going?' He thought.

She turned towards the forbidden forest.

'She's not going in there is she?' He thought.

"Ron!" Someone yelled behind him, "what are you doing? You're going to be late for transfiguration class!"

He turned to see Harry and Hermione waiting for him. He ran after them, still wondering where Evelyn was going.

He went through the class not paying attention. He couldn't stop thinking about Evelyn.

He didn't see her at all the rest of the day.

'did she go into the forbidden forest? And why?' He thought.

Ron decided he would ask her the next time he saw her.
