Nightmares

Ron ran through the dark hallway chasing after Evelyn.
"Wait! Evelyn! Where are you going" he yelled.
She continued running, her long white nightgown flowing behind her, and turned a corner out of Ron's view. Her shadow seemed she began to grow larger. It was getting taller and hunched its back over.
Ron was confused by her shadow changing so rapidly but continued to chase her anyway. He followed her in the dark all the way outside straight to the forbidden forest.
He was far behind her. By the time he got to the forbidden forest she was gone.
"Evelyn! Where did you go?" He yelled. His voice echoed and he felt a chill go down his spine. Should he stay and find her or should he go back to the castle. It was cold and scary outside by the forest.
He decided yes it is cold and scary and that's why he had to go after Evelyn. She must be terrified and very cold in only her nightgown. He headed into the forbidden forest. He ran, trying to find her and save her as quickly as possible. He imagined how she would thank him and give him praise for being so brave as to save her from the unknown lurking beyond the forests boundaries. Maybe she did not know the forest was dangerous? Maybe no one told her? Why else would she run into the forest without being afraid?

Ron stopped dead in his tracks when he heard a noise. A twig broke behind him. He was so lost in thought that he didn't notice how far he ran.
"You shouldn't be here" a demonic voice breathed out.
Slowly he turned to see what had talked to him but as soon as he turned a horrific monster jumped on him. Everything went black.
