Shinsou
Students hurriedly moved out the way as I walked down the halls of UA.
If they hadn't been avoiding me already then they were now, ever since the sports festival and everyone had found out about my quirk it was like they feared me.

If it was anyone else I'm sure they would've broken down and left by now but I don't care. I didn't come here to make friends I came to be a hero, and if I'm correct having friends wasn't a requirement for that.

I passed 1A's class and as per usual it was noisy, Bakugo was already climbing up on a desk threatening to blast Deku. The poor kid just stood there nervously shaking whilst Todoroki made his way over.
You'd think that since the two had grown up together that Midoria would be used to this by now.

"HEYYYYYY SHINSOUUUUUU" Ashido squealed whilst waving wildly from the other side of the class causing all of them to turn and stare at me. I could see no one in here felt the same as the rest of the school but it was obvious that they were still cautious around me.
Iida had already shuffled into a subtle defensive stance whilst others shut down their conversations immediately.

I stared for another moment before brushing her greeting off and walking away. As soon as I'd gone the noise started up again, Bakugo shouting about how a half melted ice cube couldn't do anything against him in a fight.

I reached my own class and sat down ignoring everyone else, by now they'd given up on trying to talk to me and I was thankful for it because just listening to lessons was already hard enough.

Turns out we are to do training with 1A in one of the all terrain sports halls, it's to improve team building or something. As hero's we'd often have to work with other hero's and so team work with people you don't normally work with would help.

I trudged after my chattering class, hands in pockets, looking dead ahead. When we arrived it was obvious 1A were already in there from the crashes and shouts of practice fights already underway, those came to a gradual stop as we entered.

Aizawa was leant against a wall looking about as done with life as I was.
"You've been put in pairs, no swapping partners. Get on with it" He shouted as our names lit up on the large board above our heads.

I found my name next to Jiro, if I'm right that should be the girl with earphones. I found her weaving through the crowd towards me, neither of us said a thing before heading to our area, wether she didn't speak because of my quirk or just because she didn't want to I don't know.

We'd been fighting for a while when out of the corner of my eye I watched Bakugo fire a blast that went off course, It hit straight into Kaminari sending him flying straight at me.
My body moved before my mind registered the situation and I soon found myself catching a slightly burnt and unconscious yellow haired boy in my arms.

"WHAT THE FUCK WERE YOU STANDING THERE FOR YOU FUCKING DEFECTIVE PIKACHU!" Bakugo shouted as if he could hear him, by now others had stoped their fights and were walking over concerned about their friend.
"I'll take him to recovery girl" I said the same monotone voice I always had, which made a few people shift away again.

Swiftly I'd turned and walked off carrying the surprisingly light boy in my arms, recovery girl sighed when we entered and just pointed for me to put him on the bed.
She left not too long after "He should be fine in an hour" was all the information she gave me, I was supposed to have gone back to class straight away but I wanted to ask him something before I did.

It's weird how one moment he's full of energy and bouncing off the walls and the next practically out cold. So peaceful when he's asleep I thought to myself.

That didn't last long though as he started to stir
"Ah my head hurts, uh Shinsou what are you doing here?"
"You got hit by Bakugo's quirk and ended up crashing into me so I brought you here" I paused before continuing.
"Though technically neither of us would be here if you hadn't stepped in front of Jiro." I couldn't help the small smile that crept onto my face when he kept opening and closing his mouth thinking of a way to convince me that I hadn't seen what I saw.

"Don't worry I won't tell anyone, I'm going back to class now." I stood and left the room only to stop again halfway down the corridor, and turn back to see the yellow haired boy run out the doors pulling on his hero jacket, a few bandages rolling on the ground after he'd accidentally knocked over a tray of them in his rush to leave.
Hurriedly he picked them up hastily wrapping them again before putting them back and running after me,
"So Shinsou" he started
"No."
"What do you mean no, you didn't even know what I was going to ask." He whined
"No I don't want a friend, so you can leave me alone."

He looked like a puppy that had just been scolded and it made my chest ache, but I couldn't tell him that the truth was that I couldn't stand to be near him. Because every time I was he made my emotions run rampant and my head feel warm and fuzzy, or that I was kept awake at night not only because of insomnia but because his smile was replaying in my mind.
His dejected expression quickly turned into that signature smile which almost stops my heart every time I see it.
"If you think you're going to be rid of me that easy, you have another thing coming. Now let's get back to class."
I watched as he practically skipped down the corridor electricity acting as a visible aura around him, he shot me finger guns before turning the corner.

Shit my heart can't take it. This wasn't good.
