Electric days (Shinsou x Kaminari)

Fight

For those who skipped the last chapter:
They had a little adult fun and after that fun this happened:

Sirens started blaring out of nowhere and they could only mean one thing, the League were back.

In an instant the both of us had gotten out the hot spring, dressed and rushed out front to see what was going on. There was smoke coming from one direction and the sound of fighting coming from the other, I didn't want to leave Denki alone but I also couldn't leave my class to fight without me.

He seemed to have come to the same conclusion I had, I could see the resolve in his eyes. He grabbed the back of my neck and pulled me forwards so our foreheads were once again touching,
"Whatever you do just don't die ok."
In any other situation I would've laughed but this time I gave him a light kiss "and leave you behind? Never."

We broke off in the directions of our own camps, running without having the grace to look back at each other one more time. Every second counted now, getting there that one second late could be the difference between life and death for someone.

Kaminari
Midoria, Bakugo and Todoroki seemed to be preoccupied with fighting Shigiraki and Dabi, they didn't look like they needed any help so I continued running past them in search of where I was needed.

In the distance I spotted Momo, Jiro, Mina, Kiri and Sero. It was odd I couldn't see a clear villain yet the group were definitely fighting, in fact as I got closer I came to realise they were fighting amongst each other.

Momo and Kiri we're back to back fending off the rest as they relentlessly attacked their friends.
"Guys, come on snap out of it!" I heard Kiri shout as he blocked a kick from Jiro.
Momo was trying her hardest to make restraint type weapons but wasn't getting enough time.

Guess now was a good as time then ever to test out my new attack technique.
Kiri was preoccupied with fending off another hit from Jiro whilst Momo was holding off Sero, leaving them both open for the attack Mina was building up.

'I'm so sorry about this Mina.' I thought to myself as I let off a barrage of small electric shots, a few hit her dead on whilst some missed but that was all the time we needed as now I'd joined the others in their protective defence ring.

"What's happening here" I yelled as I sent another shot off this time in Sero's direction.
"We don't know the siren went off and then there was a shadow that dashed past us and these three went crazy." Momo explained.

"It's gotta be a control quirk, everyone keep a look out for who's controlling them." Kiri reasoned as Mina rushed forwards.
I set off another few lightning rounds and as the others went down Momo restrained them whilst Kiri and I defended.

A few more minutes and we could relax a little, they mentioned it was a shadow they saw right? I looked to the tree line and couldn't see anything but then out of the corner of my eye I caught a glimpse of something.
Turning I saw a child who could be no older than 4, one dark blue eye and one amber, long white hair and tiny wolf ears atop their head. A child should not be here at all, how did they even get here?

My answer was found when Compress turned up reached out and grabbed them by their shirt, what shocked me was the identical child that he dragged out from behind the tree.
They screamed and bit at him with tiny fangs but it didn't seem to phase him. The other child's eyes were the same colours but on opposite sides to the first.

I didn't hesitate, I ran at Compress "Let those children go!" I wasn't about to let the league kidnap such young children.
"HELP US" they screamed as Compress jumped from branch to branch, suddenly a wall of blue flame sprung up cutting off my path.
I would've run through it if another walk of flame hadn't sprung up behind the first.
All I could do was watch the tear stricken faces of those two children get further away from me.

"I'll SAVE YOU ONE DAY, DON'T GIVE UP. I WILL FIND YOU!" I shouted after them hoping they could hear my promise. I will never give up on trying to find them but for now I need to focus on everyone else here. I can't get down over something I can't do anything about now, I need to focus on what I can do.
With one last look I turned and ran back the way I came.

Jiro, Mina and Sero were all back to themselves when I returned, each if them were sporting matching scratches either in their arm, back or legs.
A manipulation quirk that activates through physical harm, Midoria would be fan girling so hard right now.

I had a sudden sinking feeling in my gut, I didn't like it something was wrong.

Hitoshi.

I feel like I'm just running everywhere, but I couldn't shake this feeling that something bad was going to happen to Hitoshi.
I left the others with no explanation but I couldn't care less, I just needed to find him and fast.

I took a sharp left when I spotted his purple hair through the leaves. The villain Twice was everywhere, though it looked like Hitoshi had managed to gain control over a few versions of him as the villain seemed to be fighting himself.
One after one I watched as the Twice copies poofed into thin air till one remained on the floor, inching away from my boyfriend.

A glint from the branches of a tree drew my attention. There was another copy and where he was situated Hitoshi had his back to him, he had no clue he was there.
The copy brought out a throwing knife and readied himself to launch it,
"HITOSHI BEHIND YOU!" I screamed in desperation, I couldn't loose him not like I lost those children. I can't risk him dying, not when I can do something about it.

Shinsou
I'd run straight into a fight with Twice, fifteen of him and one of me was not fair in the least. Luckily for me he was talkative.

Now all I had to do was knock out this last one and help out elsewhere.
I faintly heard "Hitoshi behind you" I turned in time to see a dagger flying trough the air, there was no way I was going to get out of the way in time.

I closed my eyes and braced for an impact that never came. In stead I heard a thud of the knife embedding itself in something, I opened my eyes to see a blur of yellow fall to the ground.

NO!

No No No No. This can't be happening Denki!? Why? I crumpled to the ground next to the love of my life.

His breathing was shallow and there was blood, so much blood. Denki gave a faint smile whilst lifting a red stained hand to weakly brush his fingers down my cheek.
"Hang in there, I'll get you help. Just hang on ok" I spoke softly with a slight tremor in my voice.

His hand fell limply to the ground and by now I was all too aware of the multiple new copies of Twice that surrounded us.
I felt a rage that I'd never known before rise to the surface,heat bubbled inside me I could've sworn my blood was boiling.

I didn't speak, I didn't even move from where I stood and I couldn't care less about the blood that was smeared against my cheek. My quirk seemed to surge throughout me and suddenly I could feel where each copy stood, they may be the same person but their minds certainly weren't interlinked. One glance and that copy was under my control, soon enough only one remained and I made sure it was just one.

The ground trembled beneath my feet and loose earth rose around me as I slowly approached the fallen figure. How I wanted to kill him right here, but images of all the happy moments of Denki smiling and laughing flashed through my mind. He wouldn't want me to do that, so despite what I wanted I knocked out and tied up the villain, he was someone else's problem now.

I walked back over to my boyfriend and scooped his limp form into my arms, there wasn't enough time to get him to a hospital. The closest place I could think of was my house, Dad should be in, he'd know what to do.
