Chapter 17: Confusing Situation

I head towards the construction area where the bridge is being built. It's still far away. Funny that in anime it makes it looks like its near but the truth is, its a long route to go.

I came out in a clearing just in time to see Zabuza crush the radio device.

"Great timing kid. I thought you bail out on us." Zabuza said with a smirk as he crossed his arms. "We were about to leave."

"Gomen." I let out a awkward laugh and rub the back of my head. "I had to delay some time so that no one would suspect me. Now that I'm here then shall we start out with our plan?" I smile.

I walk near them and held my hands towards them. "Place your hand on mine. Whatever I'm doing, don't panic or remove your hands ok? And trust me. I know what I'm doing."

They looks at each other before nodding their heads as if confirming. They slowly place their hand on mine.

"This will not take long." I concentrate on the flow of  my chakra and their chakra. I slowly pull their chakra towards me in little amount and begin to weave it to my own. I waited for it to mature into the correct chakra signature I wanted and then I slowly let go of their hands after it has been formed. I went through rapid hand signs before stopping at rat sign. "Chakra Clone Jutsu!"

There was no smoke. Only chakra flowing out of my two hands as it slowly begins to take shape of a human and it's appearance. When it was done, there stood two exact replica of Haku and Zabuza.

"It's done! What do you think?" I ask to confirm my theory has been correct.

"Their chakra... Its same as Zabuza-san and mine..." Haku sounds surprised and curious. Zabuza looks at me for explanation.

"They are called chakra clones. I created this jutsu by myself after studying the basic of different kinds of chakra. I used both of your chakra combined with mine to create a perfect replica of your own chakra. After that the chakra takes the form of that person's chakra like how the ordinary clones are made but they are little different than other clones since they can last longer until it has been dispel. Nothing can destroy them." I explain as easy as I could.

They nods in approval.

"Well without further delay. I'm sending them ahead as your replacement. Don't worry. Chakra clones have the same abilities and characteristic as the original ones. They think and act the same as you do." I explain after seeing them frown.

I wave my hands and the chakra clones takes off for their first mission. "They share the same memories as the originals and after their job is done. Their memories will be sent back to you."

"Kid what about the original plan?" Zabuza don't look happy.

"Weeeell... You see... In order for the chakra clones to work. They need a purpose. The plan was just the thing they need to work. Your plan to fight my team and defeat Gatō give them a boost and purpose in life to live. Everyone needs a purpose you know." I try to defend but he only glare at me. "Don't worry. You get your fight with Gatō and finish him off by yourself. I will dispel the clones when he shows up and you will be ready for him." This seem to satisfied him.
