---------------------------------------------------------------

Before you guys wonder why I didn't upload the chapter yesterday: my PC decided to delete the first draft I had for it and then my wifi broke down, so I had no chance to update until now. Please excuse the belated update. I will try my best to keep my stories alive.

---------------------------------------------------------------

A while after Zelina called the breakdown service, you, her and your car where brough to the nearest repair shop. The people there first looked at you in confusion since not many people seem to go there in such clothes as yours. Then again, they welcome every customer and when the Firebird was set down, you explained everything that has transpired before. The mechanics took a good look at the engine, the tires and everything ekse they could inspect before telling you that they will fix the car...but it would take some time. Approximately one and a half days, so you're gonna have to wait for it to be ready. With Smackdown happening tonight, your mind is at least occupied enough to wash off the drama of the day while you and AJ will finally set the next step for the rivalry.

-----------------------------------------------------------------

Hours later, you and Zelina are in the arena for the show. Yes, you constantly worry about how the whole repair will go and how long the car will last in this day and age, but she does her best to keep your mind off of these thoughts since your match tonight is just as important. You will face Rusev in a Singles match and from the looks of things, he won't hesitate to crush you, no pun intended. His matches are always another kind of physical since the bulgarian is taking down opponents like a truck would take down a house, with no mercy. Yet he hasn't been used in quite some time and that's a shame. You always thought of Rusev as a great wrestler and the gimmick he portrays alongside his wife Lana is entertaining to watch. Heck, they even got the WWE universe behind them because of it and that proves something. Then again, not everyone has such luck. Tyler Breeze is a good example, he and Fandango had a good thing going as the Fashion Police, but then Fandango got injured and Tyler went back to NXT. Other superstars have so much potential as well, but there are very few opportunities to show it. The Live Shows away from any TV drama are good, but there is mostly the same situation displayed as on air. The fans like it, no doubt, but repeating matches from the same week over and over again gets pretty stale. But right now you can't keep your head wrapped up in this. Your match is kicking off the show tonight, so you need to focuss. Moments after the commentary team welcomes the viewers to the show, Rusev goes out to the ring under a fairly positive reaction. You're actually excited to wrestle with him, since this finally is a test of strength. no, you don't wanna take any credit away from any other opponents you had until now, but it's still gonna be different every single time. The ring announcer is also doing a great job as he announces him with such power and clarity that any other would be ashamed of themselves. Then...it's your time to walk out. You actually added something to your vest: a backpatch that says Don't Take That Beating Personally. This of course would cause your enemy to get a little pissed, but that's not the reason why Rusev is attacking you before the bell even rings. He grabs you by the hair and throws you into the nearest corner before his hands collide with your abdomen. He wants to have an unfair advantage, but you're not taking that lightly. The moment his fist comes back to hit you again, you lock it in with your wrist and take him down with a Neckbreaker. This has created an even playing field now, so when you take off your vest, the bell rings and the match can officially start. You two meet in the middle of the ring and get locked in a Collar & Elbow Tie Up. the real test shows now as you and Rusev each push against one another in an attempt at overpowering each other. It's a hard lock up, but Rusev seems to win this time and drags you back into a corner, keeping you locked. That calls up the ref who does his best to seperate you, only for a slap to your face to come from the bulgarian. He obviously thinks he has the match won easily, but now you're just getting started. When you walk out of the corner again, you wrap your arms around his neck, lift him up and slam him onto the matt as hard as you can. If anyone decides to slap you, no matter why and no matter where you are, they're in for a bad time. Rusev will get to know this throughout the entirety of the match which will take more time just because you like to prove something to everyone around. Continuing your onslaught with Elbow Drops onto his chest, you think off how exactly you're gonna finish this. The Ripcord Elbow is the Setup for the Reverse GTS or the Michinoku Driver, but you rarely use the Boston Crab, so that could be a nice alternative. But in a moment of distraction, you miss Rusev completely and hit the matt as he gets himself up, using the ropes. This has given him the opportunity to perform a Backdrop Suplex. You let him do a few things to you, since you don't wanna look invincible all the time. Aside from the damage from the Extreme Rules match you had just a short while ago, you're fine, but that doesn't stop the brute from hammering away on you. He has put youup on the top rope with your face down. This makes him hit your back all over again, slowly wearing you down while a painful expression is displayed on your face every time you feel his fists. Not only does he understand where to attack, he also knows how to attack and when to stop. This is a problem to you, but it only ends with a Fallaway Slam and you rolling out of the ring. The ref is quick to start the count as you take some deep breaths while you sit against the barricade, overthinking your next move. The time you spend outside is used by Rusev to celebrate his oncoming victory...or so he thought. At the count of three, you quickly get up and rush into the ring, putting the bulgarian on your shoulders again, only to fall back and slamming him onto the matt.
