In the middle of the show, your match is about to happen. The start for tonight was good and really entertaining, seeing Kevin Owens get involved with Shane McMahon. Not only did he tell the truth, he told the truth straight from the bottom of his heart and you respect that. Not many people have such freedom, but the ones that do use it really well. You also loved the return of Bray Wyatt this week, seeing him attack Finn Balór. Not that you don't like Finn, you just were wondering when Wyatt would first strike. His new gimmick is promising to say the least and since Finn is taking time off for a while, it's interesting to see where it goes next.

But enough about reviewing the past, you look at the nearest clock and see there's only five minutes left before you're going out there against AJ. He has also been very active in many ways, regarding charity, interviews, social media coverage and much more. Cathy went to him before she came to you for the short talk and so the producers have enough of both of you to cut together a great promo package for Extreme Rules which will be this sunday actually. You noticed how fast the last few weeks have passed again and so you decided to live your life to the fullest, trying to get the most boring stuff of your bucketlist first and then the fun can begin. Of course there are easy things as buying a house, getting a pet, falling in love and so on. The more intersting things involve sky diving, trying out MMA, eating the spiciest food in the world, doing parkour and much more. Seeking the most thrill available, you smile and make your way to the curtain. The previous match has been Shelton Benjamin against Shinsuke Nakamura, two more people you would like to fight at least once. The two walk past you after they greeted you with a short handshake before it was finally time. The arena was silent until your music hits and the lights come back on. The start up of the engine gets you going and so you step out onto the stage, showing yourself in your attire, ready for a fight. Knowing AJ, you expect him to deliver and you also need to be aware of Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson who will be at his side. Zelina has been booked to prepare for Andrade's return which is actually set to happen tonight as well. You haven't heard much from him so far, but what you did hear is that he isn't quite sure about you yet. The material he has seen from your previous stays outside of the WWE have shown a younger and more inexperienced you, compared to the one you are now, but his remarks about your style have struck slightly deeper than expected. Andrade called you smug, overrated, full of yourself. Not really traits that describe you well, but the critics also put you in a similar spot. They say you're opportunistic, you're too careless regarding your own body and you don't show much respect to anyone or anything. You slowöy nod to yourself after you take off your jacket and wait for AJ to come out. That doesn'tt ake long either, but with Gallows and Anderson at his aid, this is another kind of battle you two will have. You may have many friends backstage, but on-screen there are very few people who would even the odds for you. Seeing the Phenomenal One get into the ring, you brainstorm about attacking him before the bell rings, but that would put you at a great disadvantage since the other two can and will chase and beat you down. So you stand back in the corner and wait for AJ to get ready. The ring announcer already introduced both of you during your entrances, but that went over your head tonight. When the bell rings, you immediatly get closer to him and provoke him to start. This is common for you and makes the start more interesting, but AJ just goes back into his corner with his hands put up in front of him, looking for a moment of reconsideration before you step away. You wanna show these people that you're not just a midcard talent, you're destined for bigger things, but fighting for them is always a hard obstacle. When you both meet in the middle of the ring, you don't go for chain wrestling, you swoop up AJ onto your shoulders, spin him around and then plant him on the matt with a Powerslam. No more Mr Niceguy after all. The move got quite a nice reaction from the crowd while AJ is just slightly shocked at the display of power from you, but you don't give him any damn time to react as you drop down with your elbow onto his chest over and over again. You're not playing around, this is important for you since you need the momentum for sunday as the Last Man Standing match will cost you a great amount of energy, both physically and mentally. Not only will everything you can find be used to wear down each other, you can even go anywhere you want as long as there is a referee near you. But your plan is different. You want the match to be filled with highlights, extreme spots and moves that will make people cringe from the impact. But when that thought ends, you're the one down as AJ just performed a Neckbreaker on you. He takes a few seconds to breathe before going for another move, but you push him off against the ropes which gives him some speed. The brunette man has his arm extended for a Clothesline and so do you, maing both of you collide in the middle of the ring. Gallows and Anderson begin to cheer for AJ while the crowd is divided right now, not knowing if they should support you or boo you. Not that you give a damn, but it's still important to sell the story of your character. It takes the two of you a moment to find your consciousness again as you tug at the ropes to get up again, only for the ref to be distracted by Anderson as Gallows sweeps your leg and makes you fall down. A loud negative reaction is then heard from the people around the arena, since these tactics are always by the heels and since now both of you are potrayed as such, there is no clear favoritism. AJ is up again and drags you away from the ropes to go for the first pinfall, but even before the count of one, you kick out. You grab AJ from your position and carry him to the nearest corner and putting him on the top turnbuckle. A second after that, you climb on top of him and stand on his back as his partners on the outside get closer, causing you to turn towards them and jump. The fans finally wake up and realize what just happened in front of them as they see the three bodies on the floor. You miscalculated the jump a bit and went a few inches further than you had in mind, almost crashing into the barricade with your upper body. AJ is on his feet again too and looks at the three of you, only getting you up again and as he's about to throw you into the ring post, you reverse the motion and send him against it. You grit your teeth for a moment while the man from Georgia is a bit beside himself from the crash, but you only add more damage when you drag him up again and suplex his lifeless body onto the ring apron. He stays there in pain while you rip your thumb across your own throat, signaling you wanna go for the first of your signature moves. So after you push him back into the squared circle, you intend to get in, but Gallows and Anderson grab one foot each and keep you from following their leader as said man performs a Diving Leg Drop right onto your neck. This is a move people rarely see from a man like AJ, but it had a great effect, almost knocking the wind out of your sails. This prompts him to drag you in for a pin again.

Kickout!

You're not beaten so easily and AJ will feel that sooner than he expects because you sit up and backhand him across the face, back turned so you perform a Release German Suplex. The force from the Leg Drop caused your nose to bleed a little and some drops of it land on your chest, mixing with the sweat. It's definitly not easy to be a sports entertainer like many people in this business and making your character change a bit from time to time is also welcomed, but this could've gone way worse. Then again, injuries are nothing new to you as you finally use your other signature move. You grab AJ's legs and slowly turn him over before going deeper with the squatting position. The painful cries from your opponent are music to your ears, but like all good things in life, they must come to an end because AJ has grabbed the ropes, forcing you to let go.

Y/N:" This isn't over yet, Styles. I'll get another win and show peo-"

Hitting you with a Pelé Kick, he shuts you up and prepares for another move when suddenly the expected return of Andrade displayes. Your supposed partner is avoiding the attacks of Gallows and Anderson, making the two bald men take each other out of the situation. AJ can't believe it as Andrade gets closer to you and helps you up. It looks like he would turn on you, only for him to run up to AJ and throw him down with a quick Superplex. The ref calls for the bell and the ring announcer makes it known that AJ has won via disqualification, but that doesn't matter to you right now. What matters is why Andrade's return was scheduled to happen during your match. You're about to ask the man in question, but Andrade just holds his hand up in front of you and baths in the glory the crowd gives him, overshadowing you completely.

Backstage again, you have a small cooling pack for your nose and watch the rest of the show with a few other superstars around. Ali for example, he has taken the time to sit with you for now and you two talk about how much the wrestling business means to you. Though you're in it for different reasons, you can see exactly why Ali is who he is. He deserves the respect he gets from everyone and you can see him be a future champion. Shinsuke Nakamura for instance is Intercontinental champion and would be a great opponent for a young talent like Ali himself. But your chat is interrupted when a brawl between. Kevin Owens and Shane McMahon heads backstage. Most people run away, but you don't. You stay, not only to watch, but also to intervene if it should get out of hand. THe punches and kicks look alright to you and they do the trick, but when Shane throws Kevin head first into a mirror, you get involved. You put away the cool pack and tear the older man away from Kevin. And no, the tearing is not just to prevent him from doing more damage, it's also to show that you're younger and stronger than him. So when you get him a safe distance away and the EMTs get to Kevin, you let out an annoyed growl and look at the McMahon who is just straightening his clothes.

Y/N:" To see you getting so much screen time."

Shane:" I know many people are displeased with this situation, but that's what the creative team came up with."

Y/N:" Displeased? My ass! There are several unused wrestlers in the WWE and here goes another week with them sitting on the sidelines. I get it when people wanna take time off or they have an emergency or an injury, but setting the ones who are fresh and ready to fight to the side like that? Well, fuck me, but I'm just gonna say it: Hunter will do a way better job once Vince retires."

With that, you leave and go your own way. Many things anger you about the backstage situation in this company and you have voiced your frustrations several times on podcasts, interviews, radio shows, tv shows and much more. People resonate with the honesty and even your Twitter feed exploded when they got your reactions. You don't know if this is gonna go good or bad for you, but at least someone finally said what they had on their minds.
