Your POV 2 uneventful days passed and the assembly was finally over. The assembly was finished and forgotten about. It was kinda weird that 2 days ago I woke up on Len's bed. I just shrug it off even though I still blush to the thought of it.
I reach school and wave bye to Len and Rin as they leave to go to the places they need to go. I've been realizing that Len is actually really sweet. No one has ever been this nice to me before. He makes me think about him more often, even when I try to control myself. I don' think of Rin that much, even though she's there to make me happy, which is strange. Actually, I don't think about Jess, Emma or Brooklyn that much. Neither do I think about Fukase or Piko. I don't know why I think it's because me and Len hang out a lot. Anyway, I walk into the school gates and see Jess already there waiting for me. I wave at her and she waves back.
"Have you heard about the camping trip?" Jess says, her eyes twinkling.
"Camping trip?" I reply, confused. "No one has told me about some 'camping trip'," I say while staring at the ground.
"Miss might announce it at form time," Jess says while beaming. I shrug and walk to form with her.
Once we reach form, we go inside and wave at our teacher. She smiles and we sit in our seats and wait for the rest of the class to arrive. I wanted to ask our teacher about the camping trip, but I don't like talking that much so I keep quiet. The rest of the class come in and once they settle in, she speaks.
"So I have something to say, the teacher has announced what we are going to do for cultural activities week. Some of you may know what we are doing and let me tell you, it's going to be really fun!" All the kids started murmuring and whispering to each other. After Miss hushes them, she continues to talk. "So, we are going on a residential trip with the whole of year 8 and year 7's. So you are going to be the role models. We are going there for 3 days only. I'll tell you guys more detail, just wait a bit." Miss went on her computer and started typing. Behind me,I heard people muttering about the trip. "This might take a while, you guys can talk to your friends while you wait," Miss said while staring into her computer. Everyone gets up and walks up to their friends. I see Jess walking up to me and Emma. Before she could sit in the seat next to me, someone else sits there. I recognize Len's ponytail. He starts talking to Fukase and Piko comes along to talk with them. Jess lets out a loud sigh and grabs a random chair and sits next to me on the other side.
"Yo I told you!" Jess said while tucking her chair in. "We are going out to the biggest woods and staying there for 3 days!" Jess says while looking at Emma, but Emma is too busy talking to her 'bOyFrIenD'. I facepalm and look back at Emma.
"Hey Emma, quit talking to your bOyFrIeNd and listen to us! We're your friends after all!" I say, slightly annoyed. Emma looks at Fukase and then me, and then she just carries on talking to him. I curse under my breath. Jess gets out her seats and moves it near Piko's.
"How much Legend of Eralda games do you have?" Jess says to Piko. I groan and rest my head in my hands. My friends are sooo busy with their 'BOYFRIENDS' I never get attention. But I mean, Len is here next to me... I guess I'll talk to him. I look at Len. He looks upset. I try to talk to him but nothing comes out of mouth. I puff my cheeks out and clench my fists. I look at him again. He is looking right back at me.
