Chapter Fifteen

The day continued to go smoothly. Before Dinner went ahead and went to the village to help with the cleaning squad. You could tell that Lash was a bit hesitant to go and help but the people were so appreciative of it and accepted his apology every time he repeated it. They knew he regretted what his other self did. We did run into the old couple and they both gave Lash a giant hug. We then saw Lash break a second time as he cried into the old man's shoulder. The women smiled and invited us to their house for dinner. We would have accepted if we didn't have such strict restrictions so we invited them to the castle instead that way we could enjoy dinner together. They smiled and that brings us to where we are now. Ice and I were in the kitchen while the others all sat in the dining hall for us to bring the food out. 

"Sorry I am not the best cook compared to Ice here but I made what I could."

They all laughed and I set down the basket of crescent rolls and the pot with potpie inside. Than Ice came out placing the pig and said and the other rows of on trays. 

"Uh, Ice when did you start cooking?"

I laughed as Dak, Shadow and Clint looked amazed. Sof was still waiting for her question to be answered. Ice pulled out my chair and then took a seat next to me. 

"I been cooking since Rain and I was still with my mother. I think we were 8 give or take when we came here."

"Yeah, I remember mum and Ice here would always be baking sweats and listening to terrible music."

"Hey mom and I were always rocking Luke Bryan."

They shared a smile and went grabbing their share of food since everyone already had their share. The old couple was in a depth conversation with Lash and Rela. The elder women were enlighted and smiling ear to ear. It was a very conversation full meal. 

"So Threya, when are you and Ice going to have little ones?"

I about spit my water out and immediately started coughing. Ice rubbed my back soothingly and I looked at the old women. 

"Uh, not... not soon. Maybe one day but let's wait a year."

She laughed and the rest of the table joined in. 

"That is a good idea hun, Ice you better treat her right. I remember you were quite the trouble maker along with Lash."

Ice started to blush intensely and nodded to the old women. I smiled and grabbed his hand giving it a light squeeze. I turned to look at Rain. 

"So Rain when is your coronation going to happen. I remember that is right around the corner."

Rain smiled and rubbed the back of his neck. 

"Five days now. Which reminds me it is not a huge ceremony and all but I can invite people and I was hoping that maybe you guys would like to come. I mean the Royals would be required but you all have made an impact and would like you guys to join."

"Rain, dear you are rambling, of course, we would like to go. I can't guarantee the soldiers other than Roy but our family will be there."

"Rain doesn't even ask of course we will be there. The troops that worked with you will be required to go now."

He smiled and bowed his head in thanks. The food seemed to disappear and the delightfull chattered never died. I stood and the others followed. 

"If you would, I already had some rooms made for you all to stay. Rela, More and Roy your rooms are still the same as before. Your parents will be the door across from Rela's everything should be set for you. Shadow, Dak and Clint your rooms are next to Sif's. They are all the same so it doesn't matter which one you pick."
