I stared into Thorin's eyes, unable to process that he had asked me a question. I was thinking about how beautiful his grey-blue eyes were and how sexy his voice sounded at the moment. I kept imagining situations involving him running his hands across my bare skin, his lips on my neck leaving love bites, and his beard against my cheek as he whispered in my ear in his deep sexy voice. I could feel not only my cheeks but my entire body burning with the thoughts and images in my head.
"Natali?" I heard Thorin's voice ask.
I was broken out of my thoughts upon hearing his voice and finally focussed on his face.
"Huh? Y-Yes?" I stuttered out.
Thorin raised an eyebrow at my reaction, but I could see his lips turn up in a smirk. He smiled at me wickedly and leaned in so his face was in my neck, one of his hands on my lower back as the other held the back of my neck. He pulled me closer with his hand on my lower back and tilted my head back with his hand on the back of my neck.
"I asked you a question," he said quietly.
My breath hitched in my throat as I felt his breath now on my neck, but what got me was the feeling of his lips hovering just over my neck. My hands, which had at some point found their way to his chest, clutched his tunic tightly.
"Wh-What question was th-that?" I asked in a shaky voice.
"I asked you," Thorin started, now beginning to press light kisses up and down my neck, "If you," a kiss to where my neck meets my shoulder, "disliked," a kiss to the center of my neck, "being close," a kiss just under my ear, "to me?" he whispered in my ear.
I had tried hard to keep all noises from being released from my lips, but the moment he grazed his lips over my extremely sensitive ears, I came undone. I had accidentally let out a small whimper and my hold on his tunic had tightened considerably. I felt Thorin's lips move slightly as he smirked at the sound of my whimper, however, the slight movement of his lips made me bite my lip and squeeze my eyes shut tightly.
"Th-Thorin-" I stuttered out, but before I could continue, I felt myself falling and let out a squeak of shock.
I looked up to see that Thorin had turned us so I was laying on the bed with him staring down at me from up top, his hands on my waist. My eyes widened as I looked at his face, the look he was giving me and the emotion in his eyes surprised me. I looked at him in the eyes and just as I opened my mouth to speak, he leaned down and kissed me. I kissed back immediately and felt as he forced his tongue inside my mouth. I heard him groan and I couldn't help the whimper that was released from my mouth. Thorin pulled away and looked down at me again, his eyes half-lidded and a string of saliva broke hanging from his mouth that connected to mine.
"I need you, Natali," Thorin whispered to me in his deep voice.
My eyes went wide as I looked up at him in surprise. I raised a nervous hand to cup his face. He seemed to falter as he looked at me.
"I-I'm sor-"
I cut him off by kissing him deeply and felt as he kissed me back immediately. After a few moments, I pulled away breathlessly and looked up at him.
"Don't apologize." I said and continued nervously, "I-I'm not afraid of being with you, I'm afraid that I won't be able to please you. I mean, I've never-"
Thorin cut me off by placing a hand to my cheek and stroking it gently as he cooed at me.
"Shh, shh. I'm sure you'll be perfect. I love you, Natali, I won't make you do it if you are uncomfortable with it or think it's too early. But, if it makes you feel any better about it, I have never done this with another either." Thorin soothed.
I smiled up at him and wrapped my arms around his neck.
"I love you too Thorin. I'm ready to give myself to you." I said to him as I stared into his eyes lovingly and I saw him return the affectionate look as he looked back into my eyes.
It pleased me to know that my One had not laid with another until myself just as I hadn't laid with another before him. Not of my own will at least. And by the end of the night, I had given myself to Thorin and did not regret it in the slightest.

I awoke late into the night, laying in bed with Thorin wrapped around me under the thinnest sheet on my bed, the rest having been thrown off in the heat of our bonding. I smiled before making my way out of bed, which was not easy as Thorin did not want to release me. I had managed to make my way out of bed and, seeing as I was naked, pulled one of the sheets off the ground and wrapped it around my body before walking out of the room and to the fireplace in the library. It was a small room, only consisting of a few bookshelves, chests, two chairs, and the fireplace in the wall. I walked over to the rocking chair that I remembered sitting in not too long ago, and sat down in it, starting the fire in the fireplace.
"I see you were kept in good company this night." I heard a deep voice come from behind me.
I turned around in my seat to see Beorn walking into the room, coming to sit across from me in his own, much larger chair. I hummed with a smile as I leaned back in my seat, rocking myself as I thought back to Thorin and I's bonding in the bedroom. I could feel Beorn's eyes on me and turned to look at him.
"Speak Beorn, you obviously have something on your mind," I said to him.
He took a moment to contemplate his words before speaking, "Do you intend to go with him?"
"Yes. I shall help him and his kin reclaim Erebor." I answered without hesitation.
"And after?" Beorn asked, his eyes narrowing.
I sighed and looked away from him and to the fire, a sadness coming over me.
"I do not know," I whispered, "I wish to stay with him after we reclaim the mountain. I wish to stand at his side as his Queen. However, that all depends on his decision. He may let me stay. He may make me leave. I have hope though." I finished with a smile.
"Don't go, Natali," Beorn said with a pleading tone, I looked at him as he continued, "Stay here with me, like before. I can protect you and your sons here better than he could on your journey. Please, Natali."
I looked at him with a sad smile, "I'm sorry. I can't."
Beorn stood from his seat and kneeled in front of me, grabbing hold of my shoulders, "Natali you are already fading, going on this journey will only hasten your death. Please! Remain here where you will be safe, where you will be happy."
I shook my head, I couldn't get angry at him. No matter how absurd any of what he said was, I knew he was only trying to protect me.
"Beorn, I can not. There is nowhere I could be that could make me happy if he wasn't there with me. I know I am slowly fading away, but I'd rather my death be hastened and to spend every moment of it with him, than for it to be delayed and I never see him again for the rest of my life. He is my One Beorn, I can not be happy without him."
Beorn sighed as he looked at me, seeing that I wasn't going to give in. He stood and held out his hand. I took his hand and he pulled me up, pulling me into a hug.
"Thank you, Beorn. You have always been there for me."
"And now I'm letting you leave for a dwarf, a dwarven prince no less," Beorn grumbled, before sighing and backing out of the hug to look at me, "But I know that it means you will be happy, so I am not too upset over it."
I smiled up at him.
"Now go on, return to his side," he said with a smile, gesturing for me to leave back to my room and into bed with Thorin.
I nodded and smiled, then left the room and back to my room. I walked into the room and saw that Thorin was still in bed, but had moved so he was turned facing the opposite wall. I walked over to the window in the room and sat in a chair looking out the window. I thought about all sorts of things. About times when I used to live there with Beorn, finding out that I was pregnant, giving birth and almost dying because of it. I thought of all the times I had wished to come back to visit but stayed at my home in Eryn Vorn with the boys, too afraid to take them outside of the safety of the forest. I remembered one time when-
"Natali?" I heard from behind as I felt arms wrapping around my waist.
I turned around to see Thorin was holding me from behind, his head resting on my shoulder. I smiled at him.
"My apologies, I didn't mean to wake you, my prince," I said as I rubbed his arms wrapped around my middle.
"What are you doing out of bed love?" he asked confused.
"I was just thinking is all," I said as I turned back to looking out the window.
"Thinking about what?" he asked, starting to place kisses on my neck again.
I giggled at his actions, starting to squirm in his hold.
"Thinking about what would have happened if I had never told you you were my One," I said with a smile.
"Really now?" he asked with a smirk on his face, "Well, how about I show you what you would have missed out on?"
He said as more of a statement, picking me up in his arms and carrying me back to the bed.
