Stan's PoV

"Are you all packed?" Sophia asked me, sadness hiding in the back of her voice.

"Yeah." I responded, closing the last box.

I heard her sigh and I looked at her. She set down her son down before walking over and hugging me.

"Its going to be weird without you here Stan." Sophia mumbled.

"I'm only going off to college." I responded.

"I know. But you've been such a big help with Tate. I honestly don't know what Tony and I would have done if you hadn't been here to help." She said, starting to tear up.

Tony and Sophie have been dating for three years now, and had a child together two years ago. They're getting married next summer.

I attended the Derry community college last year for two reasons. One, because I had no idea what I wanted to do in life; and two, because I knew Tony and Sophie would need help raising Tate.

We still live in the same apartment as we did when I got back from camp. Tony and Soph share her room, and Tate stays in my room. I honestly don't mind sharing my room with a two year old, Tate's a pretty chill little dude.

"Don't cry now Soph, you know I'm coming to visit during breaks and holidays. Plus I have to leave most of my belongings here anyways while I live in the dorms." I told her.

"I know. But it's gonna be different."

"It'll be okay."

She nodded her head and hugged me again, I obviously hugged her back. I grew a couple more inches over these past few years, so now I tower over my sister. I pulled away and kissed her forehead softly.

"I have to go." I mumbled.

"Okay."

She picked up Tate and I picked up my last box before we headed outside. I put the box in the trunk of car and shut it.

That's right, I have my own car now and my license. I started mowing lawns to earn some cash to pay for the life guarding class so I could become a lifeguard. I've worked at the outdoor pool as a life guard for three years and I saved up enough cash to buy myself a car.

"Stanny." I heard Tate say from behind me.

I turned around and saw he was holding his arms out to me. I smiled and took him from his mom.

"What bud?"

"Where you go?"

"I'm going to college." I told him, making him frown.

"Why?"

"I need to bud."

"When you be back?" He asked, staring at me with his big brown eyes.

"Soon."

"Okay. I love you."

"I love you too." I responded, making him smile.

He began to wiggle in my arms and I set him down. Tate ran the few feet from me, to his mom and hugged her legs. Sophie picked him up and looked at me.

"Call me when you get there yeah?"

"I will."

"Have fun Stan. I love you."

"I love you too."

We smiled at each other before I got into my car. I turned it on and buckled before driving off.

~~~
I plopped down on my unmade dorm room bed, exhausted. My room is on the fourth floor and I had to carry everything up the stairs because the elevator wasn't working.
My room mate wasn't here yet which kind of relieved me. I wanted to get all of my unpacking done before he got here.
But I also didn't want to get up.
So I laid in my bed for five minutes before I got up and started unpacking. There are two beds across each other with desks at the feet of them, and cabinet like closets on the back wall.
I first made my bed before putting my clothes in the closet and my school supplies on or in my desk.
I was going to go take a shower when the dorm room door opened. I turned and guess who walked in.
"Stan the man is that you?" Richie asked happily.
"Rich!"
We hugged each other tightly and he patted my back.
"Wow. It's good to see you again." I told him.
"You look good Staniel." Richie said when we let go.
"So do you."
Richie did look good. He miraculously had gotten even taller, now standing at about 6 feet, and is still very lanky. His curly black hair was curlier and longer than ever, and he still had his thick black round glasses.
"Why thank you kind sir." Richie told me, doing his british accent while winking.
I rolled my eyes but smiled.
I haven't seen Richie, or any of the other losers for that matter, since graduation. They all went off to college and we tried to stay in touch as best we could. The only person who none of us have spoken to is Bill.
After we broke up he stopped hanging out with all of the losers. He ended up getting home schooled for the last two years of high school and I have no idea if he went to college or not. I sometimes would see Georgie and his mom at the store but I haven't seen Bill since that day.
None of us have.
"Wow. I can't believe we got roomed together. Once the people told me Eddie and I couldn't room together, I thought this year would suck." He explained.
"Wait. Eddie's here too?" I asked.
"Yeah! Last year we went to different colleges but we couldn't handle being apart. So, we both agreed on this college together. His room is just down the hall."
"Cool. I haven't seen any of you in so long."
"I know. It's been too long. How's Sophie doing?" Richie asked.
"Shit! I was supposed to call her when i got here. That was too hours ago."
Richie just laughed as I hastily got my phone and called my sister.
