Stan was currently pacing in his dorm room, biting as his nails as he did so.

"Stanny, you're making me dizzy." Tate said and stood up, walking over to his uncle and hugging his leg.

Stan sighed and picked the boy up. "I'm just a little nervous to see your mommy is all." He said and bit his lip.

"Why? Aren't you guys friends?" Little Tate asked, looking at his uncle sadly.

"Yes, we are friends - close friends." Stan replied and kissed the boys head. His phone buzzed, signaling Sophia had arrived at his dorm. "Alright kiddo, lets go see mommy." He picked up Tate's bag and walked out of his dorm room and down the stairs, outside to where he instantly saw his sister. She was outside of her car and leaning against it.

Tate squealed and wiggled out of the older boys arms, instantly running to his mom. "Mommy!" He yelled happily as she scooped him up, hugging her son tightly.

"Oh, I missed you!" Sophia exclaimed, smiling at her boy. "Did you behave for Stanny?"

Tate nodded vigorously. "Yep! And for the others too." He said happily.

"Good job bud, we can get ice cream on the way back." She said and smiled before turning to look at Stan. "So what is this I hear about Bill?"

Stans face flushed a little and he started scratching the back of his neck nervously. "Uhm- you know I should really go study. College, tests-"

"Don't you remember how bad he hurt you?" Sophia asked, interrupting her brother's obvious lie. She sighed softly and put Tate in his car seat. "I don't want you going through that again."

Stan bit his lip and looked at his sister softly. "Soph-" he paused, "I do remember, believe me I do but I think he's changed. He's different now and that's a good thing."

Sophia turned to Stan before hugging him tightly. "Just please be careful okay?" She said quietly before kissing his cheek. "I've gotta go, love you." She got into her car and buckled up.

"I will, love you too." Stan said softly and waved as the car pulled away. Once it was out of sight he sighed and headed back up to his room.

He opened his dorm rooms door and plopped onto his bed. He knew he had to be careful, of course he knew that but it's Bill. Bill might have hurt him, twice, but it was still Bill. His first love. With that fact he didn't care if Bill hurt him again, he just wanted him back.

"Staaannleeeyyyy-" Richie called out as he walked into their dorm room.

Stan groaned a little and rolled his eyes as he turned around in his desk. "What Rich?" He asked softly

Richie dropped his bag and hopped onto his bed. "We should do something tonight. Eds is 'busy' studying for an exam and I'm bored." He exaggerated. He looked at his roommate with puppy dog eyes.

Stan raised an eyebrow and crossed his arms. "What are you thinking about doing?"

The raven head stayed quiet for a moment before gasping. "I got it! We can go shopping!" He exclaimed and jumped off his bed.

"Shopping? For what?" Stan asked as he closed his notebook and put it away. He was clearly going to go he just wanted to know why.

Richie shrugged and grabbed his keys and wallet. "Mmm I don't know- just because. Eds says I need new clothes- and I wanna get him something."

Stan laughed softly and nodded. "Ah, I see." He grabbed his own wallet and keys and put his shoes on before heading out of their building.

The two talked about random things as they walked to the nearest store. Richie ended up buying a couple new pairs of jeans and some random graphic tees. He got Eddie a stuffed bear and some candy, just for fun but Eddie absolutely loved it even though he yelled at Richie for spending money on him when they were already broke.
Stan ended up getting some candy for himself and a new planner since he lost his.

When the two got back to their dorm it was well into the night, so they settled down for the night and watched a movie before falling asleep. Stan slept for most of the night until he woke up to a call.

"Stan, I've uhm been arrested- can you come pick me up?"
