"So, Georgie, how have you been since- well, you know." Stan said as he sat down on the living room couch. He looked Georgie over, taking in how different the kid in front of him as changed. The last time he saw Georgie Denbrough, they were a skinny little kid with bright blonde hair and a smile that took up almost his entire face. Now, Georgie was tall and fit and seemed to have grown into their body, their hair was shaggier and longer and more of a dirty blonde color that suited him. He was wearing typical blue jeans and a white shirt with a red and black checkered flannel over top; and outfit he vividly remembers Bill wearing when they were together. He never realized till now how alike the two siblings looked.

Georgie sat down opposite of him and raised an eyebrow. "Since my kidnapping or since you and my brother broke up?" They asked and tilted their head with a smile. They had really missed Stan since he had all of a sudden disappeared out of their life. They really looked up to Stan and when he left, they took it pretty hard, hard enough where it caused him to need therapy for a whole other reason than being kidnapped. Although they would never let Stan know of that.

Stans eyes widened a little and laughed awkwardly. "Well uh- either?" He mumbled and scratched the back of his neck. He had really missed Georgie. He didn't even think about them when he left Bill and he didn't know how to keep contact with Georgie with things being weird between him and Bill.

Georgie laughed softly and shrugged. "Sorry, didn't mean to make you uncomfortable. I've been okay. I'm still seeing my therapist because of.. well- fun shit as I like to say." They said and let out a soft sigh. "But I'm still friends with Jacob, the kid I was held hostage with." Georgie added once they saw Stans questioning look.

Stan laughed a little and nodded. "Well that's good. I'm sorry I haven't been there for you, things just got too-" he drifted off and bit his lip. That wasn't a reason, it's an excuse.

"No it's cool, I understand. I mean I didn't back then but I do now. I'm in my own relationship actually so-"

Stan couldn't help but smile. "Really? Awh, Georgie you're growing up so fast." He teased with a laugh. "No but seriously, I'm happy for you. Tell me about them."

Georgie smiled softly as they thought about their significant other. "He's really sweet. He really helped me find myself after my abduction and all. I met him a couple months after I started school again, he had transferred in so he had no idea I was the kidnapped kid everyone was talking about. It was refreshing, not having every single pair of eyes in the school staring at you and whispering about you. I felt completely alone... but then Jasper showed up."

"Who's Jasper?" Tate asked as he ran into the living room. He looked at Georgie with wide eyes as he attempted to sit on his uncle's lap without breaking eye contact with them. Stan laughed quietly and pulled him onto his lap.

Georgie smiled fondly and reached over to ruffle the toddler's hair. "Jasper's my boyfriend." He answered.

The little boy gasped. "Boyfriend? I don't have a boyfriend and Stanny's gonna have a boyfriend. That's not fair." He whined as he kicked his legs a little.

Stan raised an eyebrow and looked at Tate. "I'm going to? Who's gonna be my boyfriend then Tate? And where's Bill?"

"Yep! He's in the bathroom."

Stan sighed softly and shook his head as he tickled his nephew's sides who squealed. He stopped as he heard someone clear their throat behind him. He turned around and bit his lip as he saw Bill.

"Uh sorry, I had to use the restroom and than I was gonna take Tate to the park. If that's okay?" Bill asked as he fiddled with his hand, doing his best to avoid eye contact with Stan. He was wearing sweatpants and a random band t-shirt with a flannel over top. He smiled softly since the Denbrough siblings were matching.

"Yeah, of course uhm just let me get you his bag." Stan said softly as he stood up. He walked into Tate's room and grabbed a small bag that held extra clothes, wipes, snacks, and a small first aid kit before walking back into the living room. "Here you go." He said as he handed the bag to Bill.

Bill took the bag and smiled a little. "Thanks, we'll probably be back within an hour." He said quietly before helping Tate put his shoes one the two left.

Stan couldn't help but feel guilty as he watched the two. Bill was putting what was going on between them aside to be there for Tate. He could've done the same for Georgie.

"You know, he's been quiet since he came back for break. I asked him what was wrong and all he said was that you two were going through something. Which, was a total surprise for me. I didn't even know you two were talking again." Georgie said from where they were sitting on the couch.

The older boy made his way back to the couch and raised an eyebrow. "Oh? We've been talking or whatever for awhile now. But I told him we needed to take a break from each other until he dealt with whatever it is that's holding him back from moving on."

Georgie went quiet and nodded a little as the fiddled with their fingers. Stan noticed the sudden quietness from them and looked at them. "What's wrong?" He asked softly.

Georgie stayed quiet for a bit, debating if the should say what they know. "It's just-" They paused, "Bill hasn't really spoken to our dad since you two broke up... they've been- well, it's difficult to say what their relationship. Let me just say, dad didn't even go to Bill's graduation." Georgie spoke quietly, feeling guilty about the whole situation.

Stan's mouth dropped open slightly and he stared at Georgie as they spoke. He couldn't believe it. He knows Bill and his fathers relationship has always been rocky, but he thought they fixed it. Apparently not. Maybe that is what has been preventing him from letting go of the past, he's still trapped in one aspect of it.
