Chapter 5
:Hermione
Walking with my nose in a book was starting to become a bad habit. But I was obsessed with the series I'd stumbled on over the summer. It was simply a very well written book, I sighed enviously, to have such a loving bond as Wrath and Beth did. Dark Lover was a beautiful story, but as a witch I knew the horrible nature of the Vampires unlike the book I held in my hands.
"Granger" I jumped as my eyes snapped up.
Draco was leaned against the window sill the sun highlighting his pale blonde hair grey eyes locked on me. "What is it?"
He shrugged pushing away with a smirk as he stepped to me I side stepped failing to realize I had myself blocked in my back against the sill head craned back to peer at him. He was so much taller then me, then again almost all the guys were.
Chuckling as he read my thoughts I gasped when he put his hands on my waist and lifted me up my feet hovered over the ground as he put me on the sill we were eye level now gazing at each other I was shocked. "Why-why did you just willingly touch me" I let out in shock.
He shrugged. "You looked like you were hurting your neck" he teased.
A scowl set in place. "Just what do you mean" I glared.
He shrugged eyes locked onto me for a moment before winking. "It really is a good reading spot the natural light helps to" he stepped away. "A simple cushioning charm could help to"
"Hey wait your just going to leave me here" I gaped. "I didn't even ask for this"
He threw me a wink. "Are you saying you want me to join you?"
I blushed holding my book to myself. No I don't think I would the book held so many steamy moments. I shook my head quickly. My heart racing, this boy-he was trouble. I thought to myself as he grinned.
Draco looked down the hall his eyes narrowed for a second before he stepped closer and leaned in his lips near my ear. "Maybe later Hermione" he withdrew with a daring wink.
My heart hammered when I recalled him pinning me to the wall, shivers faced through me as he strutted off leaving me to grumble to myself.
"I'll leave you to your smut"
I gaped as I held the book tighter to me. "IT is not-that"
He gave a care free laugh. "Sure, it isn't" his voice faded as he slipped off and I leaned back into the wall.
I squirmed before casting a quickly cushioning spell and a notice me not charm and delve into my book finding he really was telling the truth about there being the perfect about of lighting to read.

"Hermione" I looked into blue eyes.
"Ron?" I glanced beside him to Harry who was looking anywhere but me green eyes darting about. "Whats going on." I slid my book into my side back feeling it shrink down as I did.
"Well-you said you would watch him practice so-well he said you would need help with all the books you were going to tote along" Ron grumbled.
I gave gasp. "I am so sorry I forgot all about it" I whispered in shock. "I-well I don't have any books besides the few in my bag" I hoped down and brushed myself off. "Are you guys heading there now or do I have time to go change?"
"Well there's time" Harry finally spoke up emerald eyes locked onto me as he combed a hand through his wild locks of hair. "I can walk you there -if you want."
