Rogue

☽ 9 ☾

It's the weekend and that meant meeting up with the team, but before doing so, Jonghyun rolls in bed trying to get every last second of sleep he can before old man barges in like always.
"Get up maggot!" He urges through the door. And as always, he spoke too soon. It's literally 5AM, and this is the shit he's got to deal with on a daily basis. 
He groans, tiredly getting up from the bed side, "I'm up." Worst mistake staying up late with Soyeon, yet still not regretting it. 
"Where were you last night?"
"Friend's place."
"Ya, you little bastard, you know well not to initiate with others." Hastily nudging him from behind the head, noticing the snow globe sitting well on his broken yet sturdy night stand. "What's that doing there? He points over, catching Jonghyun's uninterested attention as well. 
"Nothing of importance." Quick-wittedly hiding the real information away from Old Man who's been so nosy of every little thing. 

"We recently got intel on Lion's men and their shipments. The one coming in will be here within a month. At  such a high demand, it's crazy how fast they're sending out, which also leads us to talk about the production that's based in China right now. We're still not sure as to where the base is, but our intel is working on that as we speak." Says Nana, showing her data through a slide.
"What plan did you guys come up with?" Says Yongguk, looking over to Suzy.
"That we're still working on it, this is a big hit if we succeed, we'll need at the help we can get. That includes Jonghyun. After all he has score above and beyond on all physical tests." Surprising everyone at the table, turning all their attention over to Jonghyun who sat quietly at the corner.
"We'll need to test him again, he's been gone for too long, don't you think?" Suggests Dongwoo, considering the fact that this mission is such a big issue, no one could afford to lose anything.
"I'd say test again." Minho leans in, his voice full of concern. "Not that we don't trust you, we just need to know the current evaluation. If it helps, we'll all do so as well."
"Whatever floats your boats." Unbother Jonghyun sits back, staring back at them all.

Far from Korea, Junhoe finally arrives to a large home nearly in the middle of nowhere, bound by the deep mountains. In the distance the tall trees dance with the wind. Nothing but a sight full of endearment. Nature at it's finest. 
Into the well maintain home, the house keeper greets him, sending him his way into a room. There he finds a man in his late 40's focusing into a book. Without greeting him, he tells Junhoe to seat himself.
"What's the update?"
Calm as ever, Junhoe seats himself properly before speaking, "She's currently living in Dongdaemum working as a substitute teacher, as you had it correct. As of now there's nothing suspicious going on, but there has been another student who seems to be pretty intimate with her."
"Is that so. And whom may we be talking about here?"
"Lee Jonghyun, sir."
"Keep an eye on him, not a move until further notice. Let's not forget, keep your identity on the low."
"Yes sir."

"You ready?" Asks Suzy, coming up beside half naked Jonghyun, nodding quietly on the thread mill with vital patches all over his upper half. His breath clam, just like the sea. Breathing smoothly into his mask, he starts jogging to the motion of the mat's motion. 
Staring from the desk, Minho comes over to Suzy's side, looking over her shoulder, "He's doing real good. Must of been keeping in shape while off duty."
"Yeah, just look at his graph, he's got a really strong stamina. He's improving at a much faster rate than I'd presume."
"Make sure he's on for next mission."

After the training evaluation with Suzy and Minho and since he was already on base, he mind as well go and see the Director. Standing outside his door, he knocks unconciously. Only to find himself entering yet from an approval. He utters exhaustingly, "just here for an update."
"Go on."
"Nothing much, she lives just a regular life. What exactly did you want me to look out for?"
"That is none of you concern. Just keep watch and update me on every little thing. But do tell me, what's the little things about her?"
Unsure of how to answer him, Jonghyun sets back for a second, trying to find the right words to say so it sounds neutral and as if they weren't having a teacher student relationship. "To put it into words, students loves her, she nice and I guess you could say beautiful. There's the same guy I met on our last group mission, he now currently enroll as a student here as well. Oddly close to her."
"A student?" He interrupts. "Who may that be?"
"Koo Junhoe. I did a full background check, nothing came up but the usual. His life before all this seems too normal for him to be just like anyone else. I relate it to the fact that since he's close with her, I figured out he's known her for quite some time now."
"Find out more. Go and head on out of here."
