Preeti wakes up and sees pandit covering half of the bed. She goes in the bathroom and after 25 minutes comes out wearing a yellow and orange saree.

Pandit sees her but pretends to sleep. Her hair were wet cause of which her blouse was also wet. The yellow orange saree was matching her complexion,  it was hugging her revealing her perfect curves. Her waist was fully exposed to him, her face was glowing without any make up and her eyes were covered with a layer of innocence. Preeti  applied her sindoor and was going to leave...she reached till the door but turned suddenly, just to see her husband standing with the mangulsutra in one hand which she had forgotten to wear.

Pandit came near her and stood behind. She felt a current run through her spine as she felt two hands hooking up her mangulsutra.

Pandit: (huskily) aise kaise apne suhaag ki nishaani ko bhul sakti ho. Ab toh yeh hamesha tumhare gale mein hoga aur main (comes in front if her) main tumhari baaho mein.

She blushes and runs down.

P. Mom: are preeti beta uth gayi.

Neha: ha bhabhi Hume toh laga tha ki aaj aap aur bhaiya toh der tak soyenge.

Pranshi: ha kal raat ki neend puri nahi hogayi hogi na.

Preeti looks down in shyness.

P.mom : aye chup hojao dono bohot baate karne lagi ho tum dono. (To preeti) beta acha kiya jo jaldi aagayi aaj ki pooja tum hi karo lo.

She does the aarti and all members of the house gather together hearing to her melodious voice. She gives aarti to all. While giving it to pandit...

Pandit : mujhe nahi pata tha ki tum itna acha ga bhi leti ho.

Preeti: (while blushing) aarti lo.

Pandit takes the aarti

Pandit: aah!!

P. Taiji : kya hua beta yeh hath kaise jal gaya....Zara dhyan diya kar na.

Pranshi : mummi....ab itni sunder bhabhi saamne khadi hogi toh bhaiya ka dhyan toh bhatkega hi.

The newly wedded couple blush.

P. Taiji: acha ab chalo pehle rasoi bhi toh karni hai...ab itna acha ga leti ho par khana toh banana aata hai na ,yah phir khane se nahi gaane se pet bharna padega.

Preeti: nahi taiji aisi koi bhi baat nahi hai. Aap boliye kya banana hai mai bana deti hu.

P. Dad : are bahu kuch bhi bana do waise bhi ghar ki laxmi ke haatho bana khana hamesha meetha hi hota hai.

In the kitchen.
Preeti: ab kya banau??? Ha mummy ne kheer aur gulab jamun banane sekhaya the to yeh bana leti hu meethe mein par phir sirf meetha......ha yeh acha rahega.

She starts cooking and after 35 to 45 mins she enters holding two trays. Pranshi gets up to help her but her dad stops her. Neha goes running and helps her.

P. Tauji: ghar ki bahu hai thoda kaam karegi toh kuch nahi bigdega....tu kham a kha apna dimaag mat chala.

Everyone gather near the dining table .

P.dad: are wah bahu khushboo toh wakaiyi mein bohot achi aa rahi hai.

Pranshi: ha mujhse toh raha nahi jaa raha. 

Preeti opens the lids.

Neha+pranshi: dhokla, kachori aur phaphda!!!

Preeti: tum dono ko pasand hai???

P.mom: bohot zyada......ghar mein agar yeh sab aaye na toh saara dono hi chat kar jati hai.

P. Taiji: woh sab toh theek hai par rasam toh meetha banane ki hai woh banaya hai ya nahi??

P.dad: are bhabhi ji rehne dijiye na bacho ko yeh sab pasand hai toh bana liya, ab meetha ya theekha se kya farak padta hai.

Preeti: nahi papaji Maine meetha bhi banaya hai ek minute.

Preeti comes out holding one more tray.

Pandit: lekin preeti itna sab banane kya jarurat thi koi ek meethai bana deti.

Preeti: aap sab yeh chodiye na aur khake bataiye ki kaisa bana hai.

She serves everyone and all appreciate her cooking skills.
