You turned a left lane to the other side
A side I will never reach, because I have no ride.
I have a life here on this Earth, and you did too
but you decided to fling away the life, as if it were some lost memory
and now I am here waiting for a century
Until we can see each other again
I see you everywhere, now that you're gone
Whereas before, I only saw you when we locked eyes
I guess your death has changed me
and my friends say 'let it be'
I miss you beyond belief, that I think missing you is an understatement
I wish you could have told me, you could have
I see you in the wren that flies in the air
and in pictures with your longing stare
I wish you didn't have to end this way, a tragic meet for sure
I wish I could have been your cure
I loved you, and now there's a hole that can't be filled
and I realize that you were the killer of yourself
Your death is a toll that can't be billed
I am broke as could be, now that your sweet smile is some faded memory
I will never forget you and our cherished time together
And I know that there is no end in forever
I hear your voice in our song, as the piano keys go higher and higher
soaring like your beautiful words are still coming through
from a side I can't palpably reach
I hope that when the time comes, the memories will hear up the bleeding hearstrings
And that I will continue to carry on and make ends meet
I must move on, but like a destination, you will never be forgotten
I know you would want me to continue to live, a chance you didn't take
and I promise that when we reunite, I will not hold you to your mistake
and we can return to a sweet reunion.
I miss you, as you take the left turn
to the Otherside.
