dear uncle,

wow. this is kinda awkward and whenever i remember that i 'liked' you, i would cringe so bad because you're one of my god fathers. well, i was in preschool anyways.

my mom would always tell me that whenever you, dad, and both of your friends were around, i would look out the window and say how handsome you were and that i liked your facial hair HAHAHAHA. i know that you know that i liked you in the past and i'm really thankful that you went with it and even teased me about it.

as i grew up, of course, my likeness disappeared and back then, i wouldn't even look at your way because i would remember the past and i also couldn't stand the teasing from my family, but now, i can finally talk with you without feeling awkward and embarrassed. plus, we always rant and talk about marvel, especially when endgame came out.

to me, the past is now a mere reminder to choose wisely and it's now something i can laugh and cringe about.

from, annie
