@ The Hospital

Janae's POV

I wake up in a beautiful place. My feet were on a soft substance and I look around and conclude that I was in Heaven. I become scared. Did I die? I feel a hand on my shoulder. I turn to see my Aunt Lois smiling her famous smile. I hug her tightly and she rocks us back and forth. I let go and just stare for a minute. She had only been gone for about year, but the glow she has coming off of her is so fresh, it gives me that same feeling of glowing.

Janae: Aunt Lois, I miss you so much!

Aunt Lois: I look down on you everyday and smile. You are such a poised, smart young lady.

I look at her confused.

Janae: Have you seen what I've been going through these last couple days?

Aunt Lois: Yeah, I didn't want to bring it up since you're in the situation you're in right now.

I then remember where I am.

Janae: Aunt Lois, am I-

Aunt Lois: Oh lord no. You aren't dead. But, you are in a bad state in the hospital. I'm afraid when you wake up, you won't remember anything or anyone besides the people your closest with.

Janae: So, like, I'm gonna amnesia?

Aunt Lois nods.

I cover my mouth in shock.

Janae: Will I ever remember everything?

Aunt Lois: I haven't looked that far into the future yet, but I will keep my eye on you. But, for now. Hang on, baby.

Janae: Wait! Will I remember this conversation with you?

Aunt Lois: All I can say is, I will forever watch over you and will forever be in your heart.

She takes Janae's hand and slips a gold necklace in her hand. It had a circle with "Forever" engraved into it.

Aunt Lois: I am your Savior.

Aunt Lois starts to slip away and I wave as a tear drops onto my cheek. Everything is becoming brighter and brighter until I flutter my eyes and wake in an empty hospital room. Everything is flowing from my mind, Prince, EJ. Everything except my conversation with Aunt Lois.

Now I'm switching to me narrating everything :)

Janae slowly opens her hand and sees the gold necklace still there. She then swears she hears Aunt Lois say "Your Savior". She smiles and gets up and looks around for a mirror. When she steps into the bathroom, there is one and there is her bruised, purple, blue, and black face. She gasps, almost dropping the necklace down the drain. She sets it on the toilet seat, then begins to touch her face.

It hurts. She winces every time she touches something.

Janae: What happened to me?

She at first stands there staring, as if this person, this so called reflection, is her. She then hears the door open and a voice calls out her name.

???: Janae?

It was a girls voice. It sounded familiar, but Janae didn't take her eyes off the mirror.

A girl comes into the bathroom doorway and looks surprised to see her up. Janae looks at her, only for a second, but then looks back at the mirror, still in awe.

The girl: Are you okay?

Janae looks at the girl.

Janae: Um, I'm sorry if this sounds rude, but do I know you?

The girl's jaw drops and she rushes from the room, leaving the door wide open. Janae shrugs and takes the necklace and attempts to put it on, but 8, including the girl, people burst through the door and Janae only recognizes one of them. Her dad.

There was a boy with braids, a boy with curly like honey blonde and black hair, then the last, who seemed fascinated with Janae, with a big curly Afro. Then, the girl who checked on Janae, two others, and a woman.

Janae: Daddy?

Her dad rushes up to her and hugs her tightly. She hugs him back.

Janae: Daddy, what happened? Who are these people?

He lets go and looks deep into her eyes.

Dad: What do you mean? Do you not know who these people are?

Janae slowly shakes her head.

Dad: Go get the doctor.

The woman rushes out of the room and Janae's dad takes her hand and leads her to the bed. When she sits, she pulls the necklace out and hands it to her dad.

Janae: Can you help me put this on?

Her dad looks at in confusion.

Dad: Where did you get this?

Janae: Aunt Lois.

His eyes bulge out.

Dad: Can you leave us alone, please?

The people leave and Janae's dad makes her explain what she means by how Aunt Lois gave the necklace to her. She tells him everything and he is on the verge of crying when she's finished.

Janae: Can you put it on me?

He nods and she turns, moving her hair out of the way. When he hooks it, she gets up and goes to the bathroom.

Dad: It looks great on you.

She smiles. The doctor comes in and Janae comes out of the bathroom.

Doctor Roy: Miss Janae. Hello, I'm Doctor Holloway, but I prefer if my patients call me Doctor Roy.

Janae: Hello.

Doctor Roy: Now, you say you don't remember any of those people out here except your father?

Janae nods.

Doc Roy turns to Janae's dad.

Doc Roy: I'm sorry to say, sir, but it seems as if your daughter has amnesia. It's very good that she remembers you, because that means she only has a small case, but friends and acquaintances are out of the question.

He nods.

Doc Roy: May I speak to you privately outside?

Janae's dad gives her a reassuring pat on the leg before leaving the room. Janae walks over to the window and looking at the palm tree tops and the walking people, but someone comes and wraps there arms around her waist.

Prince: Please, please, please tell me you remember me.

Janae turns and looks at him. Se removes his arms from her waist.

Janae: I'm sorry.

Prince looks down.

Prince: Well, tell me if you remember this.

He softly grabs her face, carefully so he wouldn't hurt her and touches his lips to hers. She tries to push away, but eventually gives in. He picks her up and puts her on the window sill without breaking the kiss.

He asks for entrance and she lets him in, moving in sync with each other. She twists his curls causing her to giggle. He laughs too, but doesn't dare break the kiss. He glides his hands down to her thighs and strokes them while she wraps them around his waist.

He finds his way up her hospital gown and explores under there. That's when Janae pulls back. She takes his hands from under her gown and hops down from the window sill.

Janae: That was amazing. But, I still don't remember you.

Prince's eyes drop and he lets go of her.

Prince: Well, I'm Jacob.
