* Chapter 2 *

Sorry for all the POV switching ^^;
"Yeontan, can you go wake up Taehyung for me?" Jin spoke softly.

The small dog yipped as it understood what Jin said. It's little paws moved fast as it zoomed through the halls of the palace. Maids, butlers, and visitors of the palace moved out of the way as they let the little one through.

Yeontan stopped in front of two huge doors, and entered the room through the small flap on the big door. The fluff ball jumped on the bed, where the prince lay, still asleep. Yeontan let out a small bark, trying to wake the prince, but to no avail. The dog then proceeded to lick the prince's face and it worked.

The prince was first greeted by Yeontan, and smiled at its cute little face. "Good morning Tannie." He spoke with a deep, raspy voice. He was still sleepy, as he rubbed his eyes and got up from his comfortable bed.

"Prince! It's time for breakfast! Your father has something important to tell you." A voice spoke through the door.

"Thank you, tell appa I'll be there as soon as i change." The prince, he can already predict what his father was going to say.

The prince made his way to the dining area, to where he was greeted by his father. On the table lay an assortment of various breakfast entrees and fruits, such as toast, waffles, pancakes, omelette, hash browns, and more. The prince took a seat next to his father and stared at the food, he always thought that there was way too much food to eat, and therefore, he lets the servants eat the leftovers, which were clean of course. He always ate from his plate, and respected table manners.

"Appa, I heard you have something to tell me." The prince took a pancake from one of the plates, and drowned it with syrup.

"Taehyung, as I already have said this many times, I am more and more busy nowadays, I am being called to multiple business trips to nearby kingdoms and I don't have anyone to take care of Agrabah while I'm gone-"

"Yoongi can take care of the kingdom." Taehyung accidentally interrupted.

"No, the people are anticipating you to be their next ruler. I understand that you haven't seen the people ever since you were 6, but it was for your safety. In terms regarding you to be the next Sultan of Agrabah, I need you to find a suitor." Jin explained to his son.

"But, how come you are sultan, but you didn't find a suitor?" Taehyung questioned, "Dad I can rule a kingdom, I've been preparing my whole life. I wanna be like you."

The Sultan smiled sadly at his son, he was happy that Taehyung wanted to be like him, but he wanted what's best for him, he wanted his son to be happy ruling by someone he loves. "Your grandparents died when i was young, they had to have someone rule because they suddenly died. The whole kingdom went into chaos, so I had to do my coronation when I was 15. I want you to find someone who you truly love, and stick to them no matter what."

Taehyung smiled, he understood his father, and got up to give him a hug. "Thank you appa."

Jin smiled and returned the hug back to Taehyung. "Taehyung, the candidate to win your hand in marriage will be here shortly. Why don't you go finish up eating and dress up?"

"Okay appa."

"Maybe I should sneak out before meeting the person, if I'm ruling this kingdom, I need to know the people in the city, right?" Taehyung talked to himself, he had always wanted to go outside, but he didn't want to disappoint his father.
