A soft, yet rapid knock echoed through Jungkook's room, stirring him away form his sleep. He felt the moonlight shine on his face from the tall windows that stood across from the big doors. He sat up, squinting his eyes from the moonlight, and stumbled to the door, occasionally tripping over the carpets and clothes. His fingers grasped the cold metal, unlocking the door with a click. He opened the door, only opening it so that his face was shown.
There stood Taehyung, who held a tray of tea and crackers, gaping at Jungkook's face. Jungkook's eyes were puffy and red, his hair an absolute mess, and a trail of dried tears ran down his face. He stared at Taehyung then the floor, remembering the argument with Yoongi earlier and turned around, shutting the door.
Taehyung quickly set the tray down as he stopped the door from fully closing on him. "Hey...are you okay?" He gave Jungkook a concerning stare. Jungkook only nodded, no words leaving his mouth.
"Well if you ever need to talk about it, or need a snack, come visit me." Taehyung said before the door was shut upon him. He frowned, wondering if he was the cause of Jungkook's distress.
Taehyung sighed, picking the tray and headed to his room. He saw one of Jungkook's friends by the door of his room.
"Are you...Hoseok?" Taehyung guessed, as Jungkook's friend lifted himself from leaning against the wall.
"No, I'm Jimin. I'm going to assume that you tried to visit Jun- Jeongguk." Jimin said, almost slipping up with Jungkook's real name.
"I did, he didn't say anything to me when he opened the door, but it looked like he had a rough time after he left the party." Taehyung explained.
Jimin didn't want to tell Taehyung what happened between Yoongi and Jungkook, he hated to lie to a trusted person, but it couldn't be helped. "I think it's because of his nightmares. He has been getting them more recently, since the anniversary for our late queen is in a few months. He had a good relationship with her, and he hasn't been the same since her passing." He cringed at his story, it sounded like the beginning of a fictional story.
"Oh, I was worried it had something to do with the party, maybe it was something I said." Taehyung said worriedly, falling for Jimin's lie.
"Rest assured Prince Taehyung, it's not your fault, if he had to be feeling anything towards you, it would be romantic feelings." Jimin winked, then leaving Taehyung as he disappeared down the hall.
Taehyung felt jitters inside his stomach, but brushed it off as he entered his bedroom, setting the tray of snacks on a small table.

"Jungkook, open up." Jimin knocked on the hard wood surface of the door that led to Jungkook's bedroom. Noises were made and heard though the door, before it stopped, creaking the door slightly open, only letting a little sliver of light infiltrate the room on the other side of the wall. "Get ready Jungkook, you have a date tonight."
Jungkook stumbled back in shock, accidentally falling onto his butt. Jimin forced the door open wide enough to slip through, and closed it as soon as he got to the other side. He scanned the room, disapproval appearing in his eyes as he eyed his wardrobe strewn across the floor.
"Jungkook, just because you're upset doesn't mean we could treat expensive things like this." Jimin said softly, picking up the clothes from the floor and resting them carefully on the chair.
"Yoongi is right, I just want to go back to how our lives were before." Jungkook muttered loud enough for Jimin to hear.
"What about Hoseok? Taehyung? We didn't do all this for nothing, Jungkook. It's better to finish what you've started. Without Yoongi ditching us in the cave, we wouldn't have met Hoseok, and you still promised to free him."
