i hope this isn't too short for u but it's more of a blurb

You and your boyfriend Josh were laying in your bedroom one afternoon and the sun crept in from the blinds, shining a ray of light onto his face. Your plants and green lights you had hanging up mixed with the yellow rays and you felt like you were outside in nature. You two loved to just lay outside with each other, but it's too cold for your liking today.

His head is in your lap and your thumb caresses his cheek. The only noise came from the birds singing through your open window and the John Denver record spinning in the corner on your dresser.

His warm brown eyes flutter open and meet yours and he gives you a lopsided genuine smile before he closes them again. He takes your hand from his face and moves it up to the mop of hair a to his head. "Play with my hair, you know, like when you do the thing," he mumbles softly while using hand gestures, even though he's half asleep.

He turns away from you to give you more access and his curls tickle your skin.

You giggle at his request, but oblige. Whenever you played with his hair you liked to french braid it, and to unravel it after you'd massage his scalp which he absolutely adored.

He exhales heavily when he feels your fingers twirling his hair between your fingers, "I love my maid."

"Hey," you stopped, but giggled nonetheless.

He chuckled lightly and reached up for your hand again, "I'm kidding, jeez."

You shook your head and slapped his hand down before you continued what you were doing.

He began to lightly draw shapes on your leg with his fingertips and would ever so often let his lips linger on your skin before he soon drifted to sleep.
