Chapter 6: Run in with Dementors

Mum and Dad took us to Romania to visit Charlie, I figured they noticed my solemn mood and figured I need quality time with my brother. He invited us too, I couldn't wait to see my big brother.

The way there was very irritating, Ginny didn't want to go or was just super impatient. She would go from bugging me to our parents. Charlie has been working with dragons in Romania.

I couldn't wait to see the dragons, I was very fidgety in my seat. Stayed quiet nonetheless. Eventually, I nodded off.

I was woken up by being carried by someone, alarmed I threw myself out of the grip and punched the person in the stomach. Charlie doubled over gasping, horrified I kneeled to Charlie's side apologizing profusely.

"Char, I didn't mean to I swear! I'm so so so sorry! I thought you were a kidnapper!"

Charlie let out a series of breathless chuckles before he finally stood up and ruffled my hair. He then scooped me up, causing me to let out a shriek as he ran forward.

"You little troublemaker, punch your big brother. Is that how you greet everyone nowadays?" Charlie scolded as he ran to meet up with our parents. I laughed while he ran full sprint, I clung to him for dear life.

He stopped abruptly as we met with mum and dad, he let me down to which I proceeded to smack his arm repeatedly. He burst out into laughter, before holding me a hands distance away. Screw him for being so tall, I eventually stopped and pouted.

"Aw, come on if you keep pouting you won't get to see the dragons," Charlie teased, I stopped pouting immediately. He always knew how to cheer me up. Eager to see the dragons I pushed Charlie forward rushing to get to his house.

Once we reached the house, Ginny ran in to try to claim which room will be hers. I quickly walked in before settling myself on the couch, mum and dad were catching up with Charlie.

The day passed by slowly, night soon was brought upon us. I was out in front of the door, exploring a pleasant place. Everyone was asleep and I was on a mission, a mission to find a present for Harry.

I found a store that was closed, naturally. It looked like it had some intriguing things I would have to visit it tomorrow. Or later today, 'What time is it anyway?' Shrugging at the thought I turned around and slammed right into a chest.

Freaking out I threw a punch at the stomach, the person caught my punch. I started hyperventilating.

"Easy, easy Celest! It's me, Charlie," Charlie leaned over and pulled me into a tight hug. Panting I tried calming myself as sweat trickled down the side of my face.

After a few minutes, I was able to calm myself down, while Charlie stroked my hair. After breathing normally and only had a few stray tears Charlie smiled at me and asked, "What're you doing out here so late?"

Hiccuping, I quietly replied, "Exploring,"

"In the middle of the night?"

"I- huh- don't like being confined at night," As I hiccuped mid-sentence. Charlie sighed before ruffling my hair, he scooped me up in a bear hug before walking towards his house. I hugged Charlie, still hiccuping, and nuzzled my face into the crook of his neck.

Eventually, his soft pats on my back lulled me to sleep, the first comfortable sleep I've gotten in a long time. I woke up in the morning and enjoyed the rays of sunlight, I looked around and noticed I was in Charlie's room. I figured he took me here and let me sleep.

Walking down the steps I heard Charlie and my mum talking.

"She was out at night again,"

"She's been doing this a lot more recently,"
