Jackson and BamBam have been married for five years. They've desperately wanted a child, but with them being gay, no mother will allow them to have her baby. BamBam is sitting on the bed crying because the mother of another child they wanted to adopt bailed last minute because they are married and both men. Jackson sits down next to BamBam and hugs him as he cries.
"It's okay baby, it's okay, they're will be one mother who will see past us being gay. Just don't give up hope."
"Jackson, I really thought she was amazing. And she was gonna be the one that would do that for us," BamBam says laying his head on Jackson's chest. "But, I was wrong and here I am crying because we didn't get the baby."
Jackson lifts his head up and kisses BamBam passionately. BamBam kisses back and cups Jackson's cheeks with his hands. While Jackson puts his hands on BamBam's waist. BamBam loves Jackson and wouldn't change his choices for anything, But all he wanted was a family with him, and to grow old with him. And he's afraid that dream will never come true.
Jackson pulls away and hugs BamBam. "I love you so much Bammie."
"I love you too Jackie" BamBam gets up and puts on some pajamas and lays down. Jackson does the same and pulls the Thai boy on his chest and runs a hand through his hair.
"Why can't people accept us?" BamBam asked softly as Jackson rubs circles on BamBam's back.
"I don't know sweetie. I know Jaebum and Youngjae are trying too. So we're not alone in this we have friends who understand and parents who support us."
The Thai boy and Chinese boy both fall asleep whispering sweet nothings into each other's ears beforehand. In the morning BamBam is in the shower with Jackson. After a while they both get out and dry off. They both brush their teeth and smile at each other. They look at each other as if nothing else mattered in the world.
They both get ready for work and head out the door. BamBam works with Youngjae and they both talk about their struggles of trying to adopt. They were both putting up books at the bookstore and talk about how it is trying to get a baby. It's really taking its toll on Youngjae because he is normally radiating with joy and now he isn't at all.
After a while Youngjae gets a call from Jaebum who said he found a pregnant woman who didn't care they were gay. Youngjae was crying happy and runs out of the little bookshop he and BamBam work at. BamBam can't help but feel jealous because they get what he's always wanted with Jackson.
After a long day at work BamBam was walking home and sees a bag and hears a baby cry. He goes over to the bag and takes a stick and carefully opens it to find a baby wrapped in a blue blanket crying.
He gets the baby and runs to the hospital. As fast as his long legs can take him.The doctors immediately get the baby after BamBam explains what happened and they get the baby fed and healthy.
BamBam calls Jackson and after five minutes Jackson was with BamBam and hugs him tightly. BamBam was crying and all he was thinking was that it was the baby they wanted yesterday. Why would a mother rather have a baby die than given to two gay men?
Jackson was patting his back whispering reassuring words in his lovers ears. The nurse walks to Jackson and BamBam with the baby wrapped in her arms with the doctor behind her.
"Do you two still want to adopt him? I recognize you two from yesterday wanting him. The offer stands from the hospital, not the mother. Do you two want him?"
BamBam and Jackson both burst into tears while nodding. BamBam and. Jackson both ecstatically sign the papers. The nurse hands the baby over to BamBam.
