The Run Of Heat and Ice

When the food was brought to me and my furry friends we decided to make a plan while we eat to leave this restaurant without getting caught. Ruby's plan was to just make a run for it but it's way too risky and we'll get caught on cameras instantly.  Katie's plan was to set off the fire alarm and when everybody is running to escape we will blend in with the crowd which doesn't sound half bad but we didn't want to ruin people's night with a fake fire alarm. Johnson's plan was just to sneak around the back and take off there however the staff room and kitchen is connected to the hallway to the backdoor exit. My plan was to simply agree to one of these plans and hope it works. However, I put a bit of thought into it and maybe it's best if we do Johnson's plan, after all, it's at least his first good idea he had today. It was pretty risky riskier than the other plans however it wouldn't ruin other people's night. Ruby felt a bit hyped to do this but the rest of us not so much. When we got the check from the waiter after we finished our food I check to see and maybe it's not so much? It was 180$ the check said and with all the notes of what we ate and drink. We waited a few minutes for a good opportunity to get going and start sneaking our way through the back. When we started to get up we realized Katie brought a lot of bags with her to the restaurant and it would, of course, be nosy. Katie and Ruby had a full minute debate if they should leave it behind or bring the bags of clothing but Katie ended up bringing the bags with her anyway making the chances of success slimmer. We started to sneak into the hallway when we didn't see any employees down in the hallway. Ruby and Johnson were being almost completely silent on the other hand Katie making a bit of noise with her shopping bags of swishing and swinging. I was leading the group to the exit at the back of the restaurant. When we got to the exit door we opened it and got past all of us. We got out of there quickly and when we were at least 20 feet away from the restaurant we started to cheer.

We all started to cheer and excitement. Katie gave a group hug to all of us as we cheered even when Katie's bags were hitting our backs and legs. "We did it! Phew, that was close!" Johnson saying like he hasn't done something this sneaky and gotten away from it. Katie stopped hugging everybody and we all started to calm down from the excitement. "Close? We got out of there with hardly any problems!" Ruby said as she was in much more risky situations. However Ruby jinked it. Car lights shined on us from the road and we realized we were standing in the middle of the road behind the restaurant. The car that was shining the lights at us was a COP CAR?!?! We all froze for a second without moving at all. Cops in the car used their microphone and said: "Freeze you, dumb teenagers!" However, not all of us wanted to freeze. "RUN FOR IT GUYS!!" Ruby said as she makes a break for it. As we saw Ruby run we joined in with her. The cop car's police lights turned on and the car started to chase us. We were running but then we went into a hallway between two buildings. The cop car stopped and two German Shepherd Furries ran out of the cop car and started to chase us. Katie dropped a few of her bags of clothing making a mess and trail to where we were running. Luckily for us, one of the cops tripped on the bag as the other continued to chase us. Katie was close to being caught up by the cop. Johnson and Ruby were ahead a bit of me. I, on the other hand, decided to slow down so I could meet up with Katie while running saying "Give me a few of those bags!" Katie continues to run and giving me half of the bags she was previously carrying. We both started to catch up with Ruby and Johnson then there was a fence in the way. Ruby, Johnson, And I were able to climb it however I dropped Katie's bags to order to do so. Katie tried to climb up it with her few remaining shopping bags left but the cop was able to reach up and grab her leg. I was on top of the fence so I gave a cop a big kick with my leg and hitting him right in the face as he falls down into the garbage bags on the ground. I helped Katie up and over the fence. However, the cop who tripped earlier ago catch up and pointed a taser gun at me ready to fire through the fence. I thought to myself logically of the fence and myself and there's a 30% chance of him messing up his shot. Out of nowhere big snow blob came out of nowhere and cover up the whole fence and maybe the two cops who were chasing us. I look up and see some weird blue and white fox or wolf shape figure and ran off on top of the rooftop. I was confused about how she made snow come out of nowhere in the middle of the SUMMER! But then I look around and saw my gang nowhere and noticed they ran off so I decided to catch up with them and said: "Wait up guys!" Yelling at the darkness which almost surrounds me. I eventually found Johnson, Katie, and Ruby chilling at a bus stop nearby a road and many buildings. It was raining so we took shelter there for now. "You guys saw that?!" I asked them. "Yeah... two damn annoying cops chasing us and almost got Katie," Ruby said. "No, I meant... never mind," I said in frustration. "Thanks for saving me back there David... whatever and whoever you are... you're a good friend," Katie said making me feel a bit warm inside. "Thanks, Katie..." I responded. "Now what we do?" Johnson said. "We'll go home obviously. We can't hang out around here anymore, we might as well dip to the nearest home." Ruby said like that was our new plan and we are gonna do it. "Should we maybe go our own ways and pretend this never happened?" Ruby said. I realized I need to sleepover at somebody's house tonight or I'll be sleeping on the ground. "I think we should stick together for now... it's way too risky right now. Who's a house is the closest?" I said. "Wow wow wow who said you can sleepover at our house?" Ruby said Talking like a hotshot. "I'm just saying... I did a favor for you guys... I'll appreciate it and if you did one for me." I said in confidence while looking at Katie reminding them of me saving Katie from the cops. "My house is the closest," Katie said. "We should head there right now... before the cops start searching for us." Katie also said meanwhile we heard police sirens down the road but no police car we see must be right around the corner of that building. Ruby looked down at her feet thinking this was a horrible idea but yet again I wouldn't blame her for thinking that but I must find a place to stay at for now.
