This is an obvious shipping fanfic. I ship these two ever since Lucas was thrown into this particular place, Seoul.
Personally, I had always wanted the story to tell us more about Athy's past life. We know she was an orphan, we know she worked hard and died basically from poverty. But Plutus didn't show us, what kind of person was Lee Jihye? Why did Plutus close the book with Lucas being in Seoul with almost no magic?
From there, I speculated how Lucas--who was thrown into Seoul by Athy's Lucas--met Jihye. Although they haven't met in the novel, their souls have met in other universes.
Now, it was this Jihye's time to meet Lucas.
