Dark flies

Flying around like tiny shadows

the exact antithesis of fireflies

merging what sorrows they find

crashing down on the flames

more and more until it’s become dark

Closed and heavy eyes

they wander into your head

evading your memories

evading that small amount of light that kept you from destruction

Give it back!

sucked out your yells

a weakened body

a hoarse voice

Put into an uneven world

they move around

sprinkling the darkness

a poison meant for you

Mentally scarred

the irresistible feel of little friends

 whispering pessimistic thoughts

crushing down and peeling the layers

Flying around like tiny shadows

the exact antithesis of fireflies

merging what sorrow they find

crashing down on the flames

more and more until it’s become dark

The satisfaction becomes at it’s height

Eyes blurred and blocked by your own

Hands jumping and leaping

a sick smile

The dark flies

eat away at you heart

like maggots on a hot day

overwhelming and powerful

An uneaten fruit

is what you are

A desired light

is what you should be

The dark flies are attract to trash

to looming and disturbing hearts

They linger… and linger

until your bones lay on the dark floor

Flying around like tiny shadows

the exact  antithesis of fireflies

merging what sorrow they find

crashing down on the flames

more and more until it’s become dark
