We all got up and went to our first lesson, double potions, we were at the door when I forgot something.
"Shit" I mumbled
"What?" Remus said looking at me.
"I left my potions book in my room"
"Why did you leave it there?"
"I was reading it on the train and...I dunno, I just left it , I didn't want to blow up anything this year"
"We'll meet you i the potions room" Peter Said
"No, I don't want nick to be alone" James said
"I'll go with her" we all looked at the doors leading to the halls to see Tom.
"Tom you scary bastard" I mumbled
"Your not allowed in Gryffindor common room" Peter Said
"I'm a prefect"
they seemed hesitant but they know I'm friends with Tom
"Fine, if he does anything, kick him in the balls and run" Sirius said, whispering the last bit.
"Ok, see you in potions" I said walking off with Tom.
"So, Tommy, did you just follow us out?" I asked
"the moment you stood up, jay stood up too, I didn't want him to hurt you"
"Did he follow me out?"
"Yes"
"Did he get to me?"
"No"
"Will the boys let him get to me?"
"No"
"Then I'm fine"
"Nick" he said, standing still, turned to look at me.
"Your my friend, my first friend, the only one who didn't care about my past or how I looked, you a kind person, and he took advantage of that, and I don't want that to happen again" he took a deep breath after.
He was about to say something else but I hugged him, he hesitated, but then wrapped his arms around me.
"Thanks Tom" I Said into his chest
"It's ok, Nick"
"Come on" he said breaking the hug, it felt cold without his arms around me.
"Let's go get your book before class" he said continuing walking.
We shortly got there.
"Tom, cover your ears"
"Why"
"You can't know the secret password" I whispered, in a mock serious tone
"What will I do if I can get into the gryffindor common room?"
"You'll fold everyone's socks" he rolled his eyes
"Banana fritters"
And with that the door opened, I rushed in and walked to the stair case leading to the girl rooms.
"Come on up Tom" I smirked
"I'm not stupid nick, if a boy goes up the girls rooms, the stairs will become a slide, so boys can't go up there"
"And do you know why?"
"Do you know?"
I shook my head.
"The founders did this because girls are more trustworthy then boys"
"So girls are better?"
He ignored me
"Fine" I said running up the stairs and getting my book and rushed back down to the common room.
"Come on, nerd, we need to get to class" I said in a joking manner.
He got up from the chair he was sitting in and followed me out
"So hows you fan group?" I asked as we pass the great hall
"Still want's to date me"
"Tom, they want to do more than that, they want to fu-"
"Don't finish that sentence"
I laughted as he smiled lightly.
