"So you are telling me that the teacher is retaking the speech again."
"Yes that's what I heard from the class representative"
"Ohh god! Last time it was a heck."
"Maybe that's why she is retaking it."
"And this time we have to speak on the topic we randomly pick up from the bowl."
*confused and shocked look* "You can kill me directly Jason."Well you might be wondering what the hell is going on here. It's just a conversation between two friends, Dominic Linkin and Jason Tribiani, heading towards their literature lab.
*in British accent* "I believe that you all have received the information about retaking the speech since last time it was a disaster. Considering that I will call up random roll numbers and they will have to come forward and perform."
*Dominic whispering* "Seriously, random roll numbers. Could there be any more surprises Jason""So moving forward I call up roll number...umm... eighteen. Mr. Linkin can you please come up"
*whispers* "Is no even an option?""So as you know the rule pick a chit"
*picks a chit*
"Call out your topic loud"
" PARENTS.....parents?? Really parents?? We are in university now and we get to speak on a 3rd grade topic."
" so that should be an advantage to you. So I want you to complain less and speak more. Proceed."
"Ma'am I would like to change my topic."
"No it's a third grader topic and you are gonna speak on it"
"But ma'am...
"Shut up and speak."
*sighs*Commencement of the journey
I sure do stand here in front of you all just like a normal kid but my journey is very different than most of y'all. I was four when I saw my house getting destroyed by the flood and losing my parents. I was left with nothing. My eyes didn't shed tears because they didn't understand anything. For days I was searching for my parents but never saw them again. I don't even remember how they used to look, never had a picture of them. I was guided by an insane man to do things. He introduced me to the wholesalers who gave me random products to sell. I used to sit at roadside with a carton box on which the product was kept. I don't remember much but mostly I used to get fruits like strawberries and lichees. I was not allowed to eat those fruits but always ate some sneakily. I didn't had a place to sleep so I used to live in a box and during rains I used to live under bridges. I didn't liked monsoon at all because it always destroyed my so called box-house. I didn't earn much most of my earnings would go to the wholesalers and they used to give me few rupees to keep for myself. I used to buy food for me which was not much to fill my stomach but I got used to limit myself. I used to sleep starving sometimes just to save enough money to buy me something I love to eat. I was all alone in this cruel world and then I found Chiko, my dog who was also all alone just like me. Chiko was a puppy when I found him. We shared food and memories. He used to sit next to me when I sell the fruits and he had his own box. We were living our lives and then we met Father Joseph, the person who completely changed my life.
