"Mom, is dad expecting a visitor?" Adelia watched as a line of black SUV's pulled up at the pack house where the pack administration offices were. Everything was in that building. Her dad's office, Stephan and Roan's office, as well as the pack library that held all of the pack birth, death, marriage and transfer records.

"I think Dan said something about it last month. Are they here?" At Adelia's affirmative answer, Mariella picked up the phone and called her husband. Adelia could hear the deep timbre of her dad's voice.

"Alright darling. I'll get started. Adelia's here, I'm sure she wouldn't mind helping. I. know for a fact that she loves to cook." Her mother had a huge smile on her face as she said this. Adelia returned her mom's smile. After all, she had just graduated from culinary school.

"Alright my love. Two hours. That should be plenty." Mariella looked over at her daughter. "Darling, can you make that three hours? That will give us time to cook and then get cleaned up." Waiting for a response, her mother smiled at her. "That's fine dear. We'll see then."

Hanging up the phone, Mariella turned to her daughter. "Alright sweetheart. What would you like to fix?" Her daughter was so like her. When she was human, she had been a little heavy, and she still was. Although after being turned her body had developed  a lot more muscle. Female wolves weren't muscle bound by any means, but they were stronger than humans. At any rate, Adelia carried a little extra weight around her hips, middle and thighs. It suited her. Most males would tell you that they didn't want a bag of bones. They wanted something they could grab and hold on to.  Besides, Adelia was waiting on her mate. She had taken the idea that her mate deserved a pure female, even if he wasn't.

"I was thinking those thick steaks we bought yesterday with a mushroom and spinach cream sauce, bacon wrapped asparagus, and mashed potatoes with cream cheese and sour cream topped with chives and a cheesecake for dessert. Will you start the salad?" At her mother's affirmative, the two women began to work in companionable silence with the occasional comment or question.

At Almost two and a half hours in the women gave serving instructions to the kitchen omegas and went to take their showers and get ready. Adelia was tanned and had long red hair with blue eyes. She gave her body a critical once over after drying off and before dressing. She wanted to look nice, but not provocative. So she pick a deep blue dress with a halter top and a modest split up to her knee on one side to make walking easier. She had also chosen a pair of silver heels and went to do her make up. Using a light hand, she applied her eye shadow, liner and mascara. Her eyebrows were dark and thick and did not require any make up. lining her lips and applying a lip gloss, she added 3 carat teardrop earrings that had been a gift from her parents when she had graduated recently. Giving herself the once over, she decided she was as ready as she will ever be and stepped out of her room.

In another area of the house, in the lounge, Dan and Mariella were sitting next to each other while Alpha Turner sat across from them. the conversation had easily flowed until the visiting Alpha jumped and and released a growl. Before Dan could say or do anything, being in shock, the Alpha grabbed the door handle and yanked open the door. A startled Adelia looked at the massive man in front of her.

He was bigger. He had to be 6'7, packed with muscle. More so than usual. His hair was sleek and light brown and hung down his back. His features were too rugged to be considered handsome. But, it was his eyes that caught Adelia's attention. They were the color of amber whisky. Deep ad rich, having a look of age about them. Wolves aged very slowly, and the only way to tell was to look at their eyes. This Alpha, his eyes carried a great deal of sadness and anger.

Reaching out her hand, she stroked his cheek and smiled gently. "I will help you with the pain, my mate."

Mariella gasped and her dad chuckled. Standing, he walked over to the couple to introduce them to each other. "My dear child, I would like to introduce you to your mate, Alpha Blake Turner. Alpha Turner, my daughter, your mate, Adelia Whitestone." Stepping back, he rejoined his mate on the sofa they were sitting on.

Displays of affection wee common among wolves. They believed in strengthening bonds at any time the opportunity arose, so her parents weren't uncomfortable watching the new couple. Just as Blake was about to lean down and kiss Adelia, her stomach growled.

Raising his head, her mate gave her a smirk. "I guess that will wait. It seems that other things take precedence." Taking her arm, he followed her parents to the informal dining room they used for family. Taking a deep appreciative sniff, he groaned. "It smells heavenly. Your chef is to be commended."

Mariella and Adelia both giggled and Dan smiled. "Did I say something funny?" Blake asked his host.

"No, you didn't. It's just that the food you are smelling were created by your mate. Adelia just graduated from culinary school last week. She created most of the meal and the fabulous dessert that you will be eating later on. That is, if you have room for it." Dan informed him.

"I really am getting a treasure. I can't wait for this to happen." And promptly growled when he smelled her arousal. "Don't make this harder than it already is, Adelia. Tonight, I promise."

Later that night, in Blake's suite, the two lay in each other's arms, enjoying the aftermath of their mating. Blake spoke up, When I first smelled you, I never realized I would have a goddess. I love how your body is made. Your hips are perfect. They give me something to grab onto, and your breasts, my god, your breasts are fabulous. I didn't know that breasts could be that large and be perky. Let alone fill my hands so perfectly, just like those bountiful hips." Burying his face in her neck, he kissed the mark on her neck making her shiver with desire, as she moaned.

Like mother, like daughter, it seemed.
