Some Way, Somehow, We're Falling Out

I stared at my reflection in the floor lenght mirror of the changing room as i checked out the black dress i had tried on, frowning i ran my hand down my stomach feeling fat as Kasey rapped on the wooden frame of my changing room and walked in.

"Oh my god Lis, you look smoking hot", Kasey grinned as she set Ethan's carrier down onto the changing room floor before hanging a dress up and began to strip herself of her own clothes.

"Hot?, i look like a whale", I complained up until now i hadn't noticed how much my figure had changed after having Ethan.

Kasey stopped what she was doing to stare at me, "Your kidding right?, if your fat then i must be fatter because your thinner then me".

I stared up into the mirror at my friend behind me as she shook her head in shock, "You didn't have a baby".

Kasey finished off opening her top before she began to speak again, "Anyone would die for your figure after having a baby, thrust me you look amazing".

I frowned at myself in the mirror not feeling one bit amazing i felt more like a frump, skimming my hands down my body i decided to try on the other black dress i had picked out this one was a classy lace number, don't get me wrong i didn't gain much weight while i was pregnant the problem was that i hadn't worked out and toned up from the little weight i had put on, stepping back out of the first black dress i hung it back up onto the rack beside Kasey's dresses and began to pull the lace dress over my head, "What do you think of this one?".

Kasey pushed her hair back over her shoulders as she turned around to look at my lace dress, "I liked the first one", Kasey paused smiling, "Put i LOVE this one you look hot & classy, you should buy it".

That's what i always went for Classy but hot all at the same time, I sighed biting down on my lip, "I have no where to wear it too though".

Kasey eyes widened with excitement as she thought of something, "We should totally go out tonight, i know this great club where we could wear these dresses".

Go clubbing?, a sudden burst of excitement ran through my body just thinking about it, just then i realised ever since i had meet Ronnie i have never gone out without my husband it seemed like the perfect idea, i turned around to my best friend with a huge smile on my face, "I'm up for a night of boozing and dancing if you are".

Kasey jumped with joy clapping her hands, "GREAT", Kasey turned around quickly as she began to changed back into her own clothes, "We can go back to mine crack open a bottle of wine and get ready, just like the old times".

Ethan stretched out in his Carrier caught my attention, looking down towards my son i frowned feeling my excitement dwindle, "Kasey i have no one to mind Ethan".

Kasey leaned down to her bag frowning, "Just get Ronnie to mind him".

"I cant he's been at the studio all week tracking new songs and even when he gets home all he does is sleep", It just didn't feel right to expect Ronnie to look after Ethan when he could barley keep his eyes open now a-days let alone make love to me, that was the hardest part of the week, i hadn't been intimate with my husband since last time in the recording booth.

Kasey sighed heavily as she looked down towards her dress disappointed, suddenly an idea hit me.

"Wait hold on i think i know what to do", Twirling around i leaned down to my bag and quickly scrolled thought my phone before pressing the call button it didn't take long before someone picked up, "Mr.Radke its me your sons wife Liisa".

Kasey looked down at me quietly raising her eyebrows as i turned my phone onto speaker for her to hear.

"OH hey Liisa, is everything OK?, hows my grandson Ethan?", From the tone of Ronnie's Dad's voice he sounded happy but curious.
