"Wait, so is Taylor and Jace meeting us there?" I ask trying to change the subject from when I used to have my ugly highlights in my hair from high school.
"Yeh T said they'll meet us out the front", Bree says using her nickname for Taylor. They have always been the cute couple out of all of us with their nicknames for each other and all."Well I'm just happy that I'm not the only one looking for a man tonight, Ali!", screams Chloe. "Uh yeah not tonight Chlo", I quickly turn down the thought. Every time we go clubbing, Chloe is always looking for someone to sleep with that night. She is the most dizzy person I have ever met and she is quite dumb as well. But I love her so much even every dizzy thought she has.

•As we walk into the club, I immediately feel sick. The last time I was here I was with Caleb and my friends. That was a great night and I wish our relationship was as great as that night. It also doesn't help when I see everyone with their boyfriends, grinding on them and dirty dancing all over them. I'm starting to regret agreeing to come with the girls because I don't think this night is going to turn out well.
"I'm going to get us some drinks", Courtney yells over the music. I turn around and Chloe has already found her boy for the night.

•As we make our way to the bar Bree, Taylor, Jace and Courtney leave for the dance floor. I can just make out Courtney's blonde shoulder length hair as she pulls Jace onto the dance floor. I sit alone at the bar with my cocktail in hand and observe the room around me.
The club is two story's but the top story's balcony looks over onto the bottom story's dance floor. It's hard to make out the colour of the club's walls with the lights but they look black. I've only been on the top story twice because it's VIP only. And my job has some perks like that. But the VIP section only has tables and no dance floor. And it's quite obvious that my friends aren't one to turn down a dance. One of the tables that line the balcony, sits a familiar boy with ashy blonde hair with his arm around a brown haired girl. I can almost picture the soaked spikes of hair under the beanie from that night 3 weeks ago.
It's.....CalebMy pulse speeds up and I feel sick. He said he was leaving for Boston. That's what started the fight in the first place. He said he was never coming back here again. He hates this club, he made that pretty clear when we were dating. So why is he here? My vision starts to get blurry ad I am almost gasping for air.
I shove myself through the crowed to get to the back door. I can't stay in that room any longer or I'll be sick. I push the door open and feel the cold winter wind try to push me back inside. I resist and fumble or the railing. Why is he even here? He hates this city so why stay after planning on leaving?
I already wasn't having a good time being alone at that bar, but this definitely didn't make it any better. I don't even know what to do. I begin to text Courtney to let her know that I'm leaving and that I'll catch an uber back to our apartment. As I finish up the text, a voice interrupts me before I can hit send and I jump to face him.
"It's nice isn't it, the hundreds of lights, the tall buildings, everyone in a rush to get somewhere", says a tall boy with dark blonde hair.
"Yeah it is", I respond.
"Most people think I'm crazy for my love for the city, you probably are just saying that", he says while laughing at himself.
"No I'm the same I thrive in the city and people don't normally understand it." I add laughing as well.
"So are you ok I saw you run out of the club pretty fast.", he says with a concerned look on his face.
"Why are you out here?", I ask trying to change the subject.
"You didn't answer my question", he says with a smirk.
"Why do you care?"I snap as I am not in the mood to have a heart to heart conversation with a cute stranger I just met about my ex boyfriend."Well what's your name?", the stranger asks.
"I don't even know you, so why do you need my name?"
"In case you have never met someone before, conversations usually start with asking their name."
"True", I answer back shortly.
"I'm Jake, and a pretty girl like you shouldn't be out here alone, where's your boyfriend?" he says with a smirk on his face.
"With me up until 3 weeks ago", I say staring out into the busy street lined with streetlights. "You know I'm not really in the mood to talk"
"Yeah your making that quite obvious"' Jake replies while rubbing his hand over the back of his neck.
"So Jake what do you do for a living?"
"I work at a publishing agency"
"Alecia", I quickly say
"What?"
"My name, it's Alecia" I say completely enticed in his eyes as he smiles.
