Sierra McCormick as Orchid Storm ---->

Chapter One

The hotels halls were flooded with people scurrying in every direction. People coming and leaving the hotel. The summer vacation was coming to an end with school starting tomorrow. Many of the people running were teenagers and young children. Parents were speaking to the hotel clerks, getting their deposits back, then leaving with their children.

My mom was the third line, standing behind a older lady, and a couple with 2 small children clinging to their waists. The children were screaming and squirming around, trying to get down. I smiled faintly, children were such cute creatures.

Surveying the rest of the hotel lobby, taking in the other people. My best friend was supposed to be around here somewhere, but where?

"Orchid!"

I turned my head in the direction of the voice yelling my name, sticking my hand up and waving it back and forth in greeting. My blonde bestie was avoiding all the people in her way. She may have shoved a couple people in her rush to get over to me. Oh well, their faults.

"Marley!" I smiled brightly, as I was pulled into a hug. A very tight hug might I add. "Okay Mars, I do need to breathe."

"I havent seen you in a couple days!" She said in a rush before taking a deep breath, " My dad was dead set on spending the last day before school starts as a 'family'. The entire time we were fighting like normal."

I shook my head "The fighting will never e-" I was cut off, when a heavy body collided with mine causing me to stumble to the side. My feet were apparently going against my movement, so I landed hard on my butt. A glare immediately came onto my face.

A hand shot out in front of my face "I am so sorry!" A deep masculine voice said, although he really didn't sound sorry.

"You really need to watch where your going." I ground my teeth before grabbing the strangers hand, using his strength to hoist myself into the standing position. I dusted my butt off before I looked up to the masculine beauty of a man.

The chiseled chin held a slight 5'oclock shadow, matched with green eyes and black hair. His button up with clung to his skin, showing off all his muscles. You could tell he was fit. He looked to wear fairly expensive clothing as well. He let out a grunt of a laugh and let my hand go.

My mouth went dry, and I averted my gaze back to Marley, who just as I was, was staring.

"Well ladies, I must go. Sorry again. Have a good day." He had a hint of a smile and shook his head "Also miss, you shouldnt talk to strangers like that."

My mouth fell open as he walked away. "Orchid, your going to catch flies if you dont shut your mouth
" Marley laughed.

I turned to glare at her, then stuck my tongue out.

"Orchid, what did I tell you about sticking your tongue out. It's not lady like." My mother rolled her eyes "Tell Marley bye, we're leaving now. It was nice seeing you again Marley, stop in whenever hunny." My mother smiled at my best friend. My mom took a huge liking to Marley.

"Of course Miss Storm."

"What have I told you Marley, call me Darlene. Or Mom." My mother winked then waved "Let's go Orchid. School starts tomorrow."

With that I departed the hotel witha wave to my best friend and my heart racing about my final year of highschool starting the very next day.
