Brett's POV
I was on my way to pick up Y/N from work as I was about to enter the building. I saw her with a male co-worker and she seems to be really happy with him. I sat on the couch by the lobby area as I wait for her to approach me.
"Hey Brett, how was work?" She asked me while giving me a smile.
"It's okay" I answered dryly.
"What's the problem?" She asked looking purely worried.
I shrugged her arm off and I went inside the car. The ride back home was dead silent due to incident that occurred in her workplace.
As we got home, I didn't bother to eat dinner because I was not in the mood to do so. I went straight to our room and lied down facing the wall.
A few minutes have passed and I hear a slow creaking sound coming from the door.
"Hey Brett, do you want to eat dinner?" She shyly asked.
"Nah"
She got worried and asked me what's up with me.
"Brett, seriously though what's wrong? Did I do something wrong? You've been ignoring me since we saw each other at my workplace. Is this a sign you want to break up with me?"
Tears started to form in her eyes.
I stood up and pulled her in a warm hug.
