chapter 3 The Bonfire

After arthur did the secert knock. A 21 year old average height dirty blonde blue eyes man opens the door holding game contoller in his hand says" hi im dean welcome to my home." Christine could not help but stare at him as he hands his hand out to shake hands. Arthur shakes his hand and asks" thanks man. This is Christine she just got out of relationship and she loves bonfires so." Arthur points to the backyard. " man yes the partys out back . come on in." Christine walks in and looks around the house listening to music and dogs barking. Dean turns around and hollars from the kitchen " hey shortie the bonfire out here. Come on I'll introduce you to the farm animals." She puts her hands in her pockets and says " ok lead the way handsome." They both smile and walk out to the back porch where bbq pit was Christine looks at the pit full of food. And dean says " are you hungry? We got plenty of food so dont be afraid to help yourself to some bbq." She giggles and says " naw im good thank you. But id like a drink." Deanwith surprised look on his face says " oh well in that case what will it be whiskey, hot damn, MD or sodas?." " i think ill take a soda." Dean opens the cooler near the steps and says " you sure i make a good mix drink." Christine smiles and says " yeah im sure." Dean grabs coke hands it to christine and guides her to the pigs and turkeys. " wow what are the pigs names?" Dean points to the big prize winning pig thats charlenne and that small one over there is her sister hannah." " we used to have horses but after a while we couldn't afford to take care of them so we sold them to friend of ours named mark." Christine turns around and sees the bonfire. Dean sees her gazing into the fire and takes her by the hand and walks her to the bonfire he sits down in a chair and sets her on his lap and as Christine snuugles in to his chest they gaze into the fire listening to the sound of both nature and country music. The feeling they felt in that moment was like the world stood still. Around 10pm the party was dying down and dean offered to let Christine sleep in his bed while he slept in his '75 truck. The next morning wayne came over to deans house and he knocked on the door asked his mom " hey miss Pears have you seen dean?." Mrs. Pear points to the truck and said " have you check to see if hes in his truck. You know how he is after a party." Wayne turns away laughing " yes ma'am i do. Thank you" he jogs up to the truck and knocks on the window. Dean flutters his eyes and turns his head to the window groans goes back to sleep. Wayne knocks on the window and says " hey bro wanna play a game of DBD with me?." Dean opens the door and says "yeah just gotta give me a minute i let this hot girl sleep in my bed last night." Wayne follows dean to the house and says " oh ok go wake her up and we can wait .... Hold up you let a girl sleep in your bed?." Dean looks back as he is in the front door and says " yeah." Wayne continues to say " nd you didnt sleep with her or anything you just let her sleep in your bed all night?." Dean puts some clothes on and starts walking down hall to bathroom and says in annoying tone " yes. God why is that so hard to believe?." "Case man you dont normally do that kinda stuuf.  I gotta meet this women." Dean closes the bathroom door says " aight i just gotta take whiz real quick and ill wake her up and you can meet her she real sweet and man is she sexy as ****."
