Kendall stood there for a little while longer looking at the reflection. Finally, she turned away, not able to look at it any longer. Kendall snuck outside of Brooke's house and down the brown cobblestone pathway. 'What am I doing?' She though to herself. Kendall knew what she was doing, leaving. "You better not be going anywhere without me," someone called from behind her, it was Brooke. She ran up next to Kendall and whispered in her ear, "I know what you're doing and I don't blame you but you gotta have a plan." Kendall stared at Brooke, how did she know? "Follow me," Brooke said. Kendall followed Brooke down the pathway and eventually off of it and on to the dirt. "Where are we going?" She asked. "Just wait," Brooke replied. They went into the woods, swerving around trees. Kendall could tell they were hot going to any place she had been aloud to go before. Finally, they stopped, but she didn't know why. All that Kendall could see in front of her was a giant boulder. Brooke raised her fist to the side of the boulder and knocked four times, then three more. Kendall jumped as a part of the boulder slipped away, revealing a huge room. "Where are we?" She asked, astonished. "Welcome to the hideout for the Imperfects," a voice says from behind her. She turns around to see that it is Brooke's younger sister, Paige. She had cute blonde hair and sparkling blue eyes. "The Imperfects?" Kendall asked, confused. "Anyone and everyone that is against the government and our current way of life," Brooke clarified. "Wait, Brooke," Kendall asks, "if you're against the government, then why are you working for them by running the exams?" "I'm undercover," she said, "it was the easiest job involving the government that I could slip into." "Here, why don't I show you around to meet everyone?" Paige suggests. "This is basically all there really is to see," she says pointing around the room, "but over there are a few smaller rooms for storage, planning, just different stuff. Okay so now time to meet everyone. Here's Josh, Nick, Chloe, Nia and Kalani." Kendall smiled at the fact that it was mostly girls. She motions towards the other side of the room, and introduced me to a few more people she'd never met. "Oh and here is our leader..." "Ms. Martello?" Kendall yells, "you're undercover too?" "Kendall, what are you doing here?" She screams. "I brought her," Brooke says. Gianna and Brooke move to the corner of the room. "Do you realize her father is apart of the government?" Gianna whispers. "Don't worry," Brooke replies, "she tried to run away so she wouldn't have to take her exam." Gianna eyed Kendall suspiciously, "fine I'll give her one chance."
