The next night Michael was sleeping in his room when...

"I think it's against the law to your parents by their first name," a female voice said.

His head snapped up and his eyes widened. "Mom?"

A grin appeared on Demi's face. "According to you, yeah."

Michael couldn't believe it. Had he finally lost his freaking mind? "How- why- what's..."

"Hey, I'm just here to tell you that you gonna have to give your dad some slack and love," she said seriously.

"Trust me," she said, looking at him.

"What are you doing here?" Seeing her again was just... there were no words.

"I'm here because you need me," she said with a smile.

"But, I've needed you plenty over the last few months and you still haven't woken up," he said.

"That's because you've never needed me more than you do right now," she said.

"It's just so great to see you again," he said, smiling.

She smirked. "It's so great to see you too, but, not talking about it isn't gonna make it any less true."

"Mom, you're here, but, you're not. Not really. I don't know for how long and that's why I'd rather talk about how much I love and miss you. How much I wish you were here," he said.

She took his hand and squeezed it. "I understand, sweetie. I miss and love you and your little sibling that's on the way more than you can imagine."

"Mom, don't, you sound like you won't survive," he said quietly.

"I have to. You and the baby have a family and that's with your dad" she was saying.

"We are a family," he said.

"You know what I mean," she said. "You guys are gonna have the happiness you deserve."

"Mom-" he began.

"I'll always, always love you and the baby," she said, then, kissed his cheek and vanished.

Demi visits Kevin Dream

"Hey, Kevin."

Kevin looked to his right to see Demi. Instead of gasping or gawking in astonishment, Kevin smiled warmly. "Hi, Demi."

"I'm here because I felt now was the perfect time to say thank you for you have done to this point. Thanks so much, Kevin. You're always gonna be what Michael and the baby need," Demi said, smiling.

"Thank you for saying that, but you mean?" Kevin said.

"No problem, but it means that I won't survive the coma, but the baby will," Demi said. "Please keep being incredibly happy."

"I will," Kevin said. Demi smiled one last time, then, vanished. Kevin stood still, smiling. His smile widened.
