Hyejin's POV

I confessed something to Taehyung earlier, saying how much I love his smile, and his response got me stunned.

"This smile only exists when I'm with you," he said, giving me a gentle peck on the forehead, before back hugging me, resting his head on top of mine.

"Thank you, that meant a lot to me.", I said, placing my hand on his cheek.

"You mean a lot more to me," he said, as I turned around to face him.

I cupped his face with my hands, as I smiled sweetly at him. He let out a chuckle, as he asked, "Babe, what are you even doing?"

"I love you," I said to him, as he smiled again, pecking my lips lightly.

"I love you more and you can't argue with me about that," he said.

"Alright," I laughed, wrapping my arms around his neck.

Taehyung lifted me up from the ground, as he sat on the bench, with me on top of him.

He leaned closer, capturing our lips together while he wrapped his arms around my waist.

"Guys, we're going home—"

We both snapped our heads towards the voice, reluctantly breaking the kiss. "W-what are you doing here??", Taehyung asked the younger boy.

"Jimin hyung told me to inform you guys that we're leaving now. We'll visit you again soon," Jungkook said.

"Okay, bye!", Taehyung said.

"Get home safely, the both of you.", I said to Jungkook, as he smiled, nodding eagerly.

So the younger ones left to go back home, and now it's just the two of us, again, as we stood there in silence.

All of a sudden, Taehyung wrapped his arms around me, hugging me securely in his embrace, as he snuggled up into my neck.

"Y-yah, what are y-you doing?", I stuttered, but Taehyung didn't even move a muscle.

"You know what? I am so lucky to have you. Like really lucky,"

My lips slowly curved up into a smile, as I turned around to face him, making him abruptly released his grip on me.

"But I'm luckier to have you," I said, tiptoeing to peck his lips.

I quickly dashed towards the exit, embarrassed of my own action, while Taehyung just stood there, dumbfounded.

It's not like we've never kissed before, but I rarely kissed him first.

And that explains why Taehyung is so shook and confused right now.

He slowly turned around, as I smiled sheepishly at him. "Yoo Hyejin?"

"Um, yeah?"

"Did you just..."

"W-well..."

He made his way towards me, as he pulled me close to him, our bodies slightly pressed against each other.

Because of Taehyung's strong force, the mug I was holding flew out of my hand, as it shattered into some smaller pieces.

"Tae, the mug—"

"No, honey. We ain't talking about a mug here," he said.

"But it's broken—"

"Who cares? You're way more important than a mug."

"That's—"

He cut me off by placing his lips on mine, kissing me passionately yet softly, as I melted into his kiss.
