[Matt's POV]

I sit at my computer trying to find the motivation to edit the video for the Misfits channel but sadly finding none. The only thing that I can focus on is the fact that my older brother is getting out of jail and is coming to live with me and my friend's. 'Has he really changed or is he still the same?' I'm knocked out of my thoughts by a knock on the door, I start feeling the anxiety build up knowing very well who was at the door.

*Homework sucked. It's all I ever did when I got home, other then sneak off with Jasper to the lake out by our shitty house. As I erased yet another wrong math equation, the creaky sound of the front door echoed throughout the empty house. My attention turned towards the hallway, I couldn't see the door but I could hear the stumbling and curses that was my brother.

"Jas?" It became dead silent.

"Hey Matty, uh, don't worry about me, finish your homework." I turned around, doing as he said but I couldn't stop my curiosity. Turning to look down the hallway, I watched my brother's bloody back as he entered our shared room.

Thinking he was hurt, I rushed into the room only to catch my brother walking normally, with a bloody white shirt in hand. My eyes widen as I notice he wasn't hurt; this wasn't his blood.

"Shit, Matt, I can explain." I stared at the exact same dark brown eyes I had, trying to ignore the splatters of blood on his face. I didn't say anything, instead crossed my arms over my chest and narrowed my eyes at my role model.

"I'm apart of the Mafia but you cannot tell mom or dad." I scoffed. My role model is a criminal.*

I start hearing a ruckus downstairs, I get up and walk down the stairs and to the entrance. I stop before staring at the only thing that was separating me and my brother. I take a shaky breath before I slowly open the door. I look at him slightly surprised at how much he really has changed but I don't have much time to think before I'm cut off from all thoughts.

"Hey Matty~." Jasper says as he smirks at me. "Uh, I, hey." I say looking up at him taking in all of his features, my eyes fall to the most noticeable and memorable feature of all, the scar on his left eyebrow.

*My face felt numb after all the punches I had received. It wasn't just my face, my hands and knees were numb as well as all my emotions. I knew I deserved this; I should have did what he asked instead of trying to stand up for myself. I groaned as I felt the toe of the boot dig into my stomach.

"You worthless piece of-- oh shit."

"Oh shit indeed. Please continue what you were going to call my brother." I looked up, barely able to see in one eye due to the blackeye I had gotten. My brother stood there in all his glory, a smirk plastered on his face but the dark look he had caused shivers down my spine and I bet the bullies as well. His eyes looked pitch black as he leaned down to the tallest bullies height.

"Get the hell out of here, asshole." The leader of the bullies says, getting enough courage to glare at my brother. Jasper chuckled, looking down, not caring about the strands of maroon hair that covered his eyes.

"Or else what? You gonna punch me? Do it, I dare ya." I gasped in shock as my bully actually did what my brother dared of him, he gave a strong left hook to my brothers temple. Little did my brother notice the ring the leader wore. I stared in shock as my brother's left eyebrow, it was bleeding a lot.

"Nice hit, my turn." The dark tone my brother had made me want to hide in the corner and cover my face. With one punch, Jasper had knocked the leader out cold. He gave the rest of the group a psychotic smile.
