-The year is 1985- -On a cliffside near the beach- *Cliff's POV*
=================================
It was a warm summer day. The sun was setting, painting the sky with beautiful pinks, oranges, and purples, there was a light breeze, and we were having a great time. After a bit, James and Gary started to play Canon in D on their guitars as Lars scattered white rose petals while he walked. As he did, I looked, and smiled when I saw Kirk walking toward me wearing a white shirt, blue jeans and some sneakers. He smiled at me, his face absolutely radiant and beautiful, topped with a flower crown of daisies, sunflowers, and baby's breath on his curly dark brown hair. This is the man I fell in love with, and couldn't wait to marry. As I looked at him, tears of joy sparkled in my brown eyes, and I took his hands after he handed his bouquet of sunflowers over to Lars. After this, I smiled, and said, "You look beautiful, Kirk." He smiled, his cheeks blushing a light pink, and said, "You look pretty handsome yourself, Cliff." I smiled, taking his hands into mine, and Lemmy said, "We are gathered here today to join these two together with the sacred bond of marriage." After this, Scott and Lars handed the rings to Kirk and I, and Lemmy said, "Cliff and Kirk, the vows you are about to make are a way to share your love and commitment to each other in your own words. Sometimes verses, quotes and poems just don't get the point across the way you need them to and the best option is to just do it yourself. These vows are your way of openly declaring your promise to one another and to all of those who are here today. Cliff? Would you read your vows?" I nodded, taking the folded piece of paper from my pocket, and read aloud, "Kirk, I know this is probably the cheesiest thing you've ever heard me say, but I fell in love with you the moment I first saw you. From your beautiful chocolate brown eyes, to your adorable smile, I love you. You're my one and only, and I wouldn't have it any other way." I folded the paper, putting it back in my pocket, and Lemmy looked at Kirk, and said, "Kirk, would you read your vows?" He nodded, unfolding the piece of paper handed to him by Lars, and read aloud, "Cliff, when I first met you, I knew you were the one for me. You're an amazing man, and I'm so lucky to be standing here today, exchanging our wedding vows. I love you, and I always will. You're my soulmate, and I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you." Kirk smiled at me, tears of joy rolling down his rosy cheeks, and Lemmy looked at me and said, "Cliff, please take Kirk's hand, and repeat these words. I give you this ring as a symbol of our love, for today and tomorrow, and for all the days to come. Wear it as a sign of what we've promised on this day, and know that my love is present, even when I am not." I nodded, taking Kirk's hand into mine, and said, "I give you this ring as a symbol of our love, for today and tomorrow, and for all the days to come. Wear it as a symbol of what we've promised on this day, and know that my love is present, even when I am not." I slid the ring onto his finger, smiling as I did, and Lemmy looked at Kirk, and said, "Kirk, please take Cliff's hand, and repeat these words. I give you this ring as a symbol of our love, for today and tomorrow, and for all the days to come. Wear it as a sign of what we've promised on this day, and know that my love is present, even when I am not." Kirk nodded, taking my hand, and repeated, "I give you this ring as a symbol of our love, for today and tomorrow, and for all the days to come. Wear it as a symbol of what we've promised on this day, and know that my love is present, even when I am not." He slid the ring onto my finger, and Lemmy said, "Kirk and Cliff, you have professed your love by exchanging your vows, and you have symbolized your commitment by exchanging rings. With these things, there is one more question I need each of you to answer and then we'll celebrate." Kirk and I looked at each other, both smiling from ear to ear, and Lemmy said, "Kirk, to you take Cliff to be your husband, to live together in the covenant of marriage? Do you promise to love him, comfort him, honor and keep him, in sickness and in health; and, forsaking all others, be faithful to him as long as you both shall live?" He smiled, and said, "I do." Lemmy smiled, looking at me, and said, "Cliff, do you take Kirk as your husband, to live together in the covenant of marriage? Do you promise to love him, comfort him, honor and keep him, in sickness and in health; and, forsaking all others, be faithful to him as long as you both shall live?" I smiled, tears of happiness Rollins down my cheeks, and said, "I do." Lemmy smiled, putting a hand on each of our shoulders, and said, "Then by the power vested in me by the gods of heavy metal, I now pronounce you two, officially married. Cliff, what are you waiting for? Kiss your new husband already!" I smiled, running my hand through Kirk's dark brown curls, and kissed him passionately as he wrapped his arms around my neck, and melted into the kiss. After this, we broke away from the kiss, and smiled as everyone threw rice at us. After a bit, we went over to the buffet table, and James handed us a knife, the handle of which he wrapped with a rose and a ribbon. When he did, Kirk and I cut the first slice of the cake, and fed it to each other. When we finished off the cake, James turned on the boom box, and we slow danced to If I Fell by the Beatles.
