-February 14th, 1987- *Kirk's POV*

Oh man. I've never been this sad before. Especially on Valentine's Day. But this year, it was different. It's my first Valentine's Day without Cliff, and with a baby. When we finally got back home, I put my bags away, and sat on the couch, cradling Aria in my arms. I smiled down at the tiny sleeping baby girl, and said, "Gosh. You're so pretty. I can't believe I created you. You look so much like your daddy. He'd love you so much." As I said this, Aria opened her eyes, revealing the most beautiful light brown eyes I've ever seen. I smiled, and said, "You have your daddy's eyes." I kissed her forehead, and she cooed softly, wrapping her tiny hand around my finger. When she did, I smiled, chuckling softly, and she yawned, letting go of my finger, and fell back asleep. After a bit, I got up from the couch, and went into my room. When I did, I unwrapped Aria from her blanket, changed her diaper, and dressed her up in a pink onesie, a headband over her auburn curls, and some pink booties. I smiled, wrapping her back up in the pink baby blanket my mom made for Aria, and went back into the living room. When I did, James came over to me, putting a hand on my shoulder, and said, "Hey man. It'll get better. Plus, you've got a whole new life to look forward to." I smiled, and said, "Yeah. Oh, I almost forgot. I'm gonna go introduce Aria to Cliff's parents and my mom. I'll be back soon. Can you go get Aria's diaper bag from my room, please?" He nodded, and made his way to my room. After a bit, he came back with the white diaper bag, and handed it to me. I thanked him, grabbing my keys, and went to my car. When I did, I put Aria into her car seat, making sure she was buckled, and we left. After driving for a bit, I stopped by my mom's house, getting out of the car with Aria, and knocked on the door. When I did, my mom answered the door, and smiled, saying, "Kirk! I wasn't expecting you to come visit! Who's this?" I smiled, and said, "Mom, this is your granddaughter, Aria Lee Burton." She smiled, and said, "Oh my goodness, she's gorgeous! She looks so much like you." I looked at her, entering the house, and said, "She looks a lot like Cliff too. She has his hair, his eyes, his nose, and even his ears." After a bit, Aria stirred slightly, yawning softly as she did, and just kept sleeping. After about 45 minutes of talking about Aria and how I was doing, we said our goodbyes, and I left with Aria still asleep in my arms. After getting her back into her car seat, we drove a bit more, and reached Cliff's parent's house. When we did, I got out of the car, getting Aria and her diaper bag, and walked up to the doorstep. When I did, I knocked, and after a few moments, I was greeted by Ray. He smiled, and said, "Hey Kirk! What brings you here?" I smiled, and said, "There's someone I'd like you guys to meet." He smiled, letting me come in, and I sat down on the couch. When I did, I said, "Ray, Jan, say hello to your granddaughter, Aria Lee Burton. She shares her birthday with Cliff, and she's the love of my life." Ray smiled, and said, "Wow. I can see so much of Cliff in her face. Same nose, same ears, same dimple right on her chin. She's a beautiful baby." I smiled, running a hand over her auburn curls, and said, "She also has his eyes. And his hair color." After a bit, Jan came over to us, and said, "Oh my goodness, she's such a beautiful baby." I smiled, thanking them, and we left after saying our goodbyes.
