chapter one : bruised
A cold breeze of air blew right before our faces as I entered the rooftop. I closed my eyes when I saw him sitting on the floor and felt the cold breeze of air that touched my face.
Every year, same day, same place, we'll meet each other here. I won't forget this day... and those days.
I saw him looking over his shoulder and grinned, "come over, idiot."
I sighed heavily while walking towards him. I sat beside him and as usual; he gave me a can of coke can that I immediately took.
"Thanks," I said.
He just nod and looked at me intently, "ba't ganiyan mukha mo?"
I looked at him, "ha?"
"Nakabusangot ka na naman, ano'ng nangyari?"
I closed my eyes in frustration and drank from my drink, "nothing."
"Weh?"
I looked at the night sky. "Kumusta kayo ni Aisha?"
"Scena..." I looked at him and he's glaring at me.
I laughed, "what?"
"H'wag mong iniiba ang usapan."
Uminom ulit ako sa 'king inumin, "I just..." I sighed. "I'm just tired, Jin."
I closed my eyes and let the cold breeze of the air touch my face. "Then rest."
I heavily sigh, "Sana gano'n lang kadali 'yon." I looked at him and he's looking up the sky. "Kumusta nga kayo ni Aisha?"
"Ayon, nakipag-break siya sa 'kin."
Nanlaki ang mga mata ko sa sinabi niya, "Ano?! Tapos hindi mo man lang sa 'kin sinabi?!"
He chuckled then drank from his drink, "Kakasabi ko lang ah?"
I rolled my eyes and stood up, "You're a stupid son of a bitch!"
