chapter two: best friend
I went to her place—in a condominium.
I knocked on her door three times and she immediately opened it. She looked at me from head to toe and lifted her gaze again. She looked at me in shock and was about to close the door when I stopped her.
"Isn't that disrespectful Ms. Frances?"
"Who are you?" she asked.
I smiled at her, "I'm Scena Kyrille."
"Oh, okay?" she faked a smile.
"And I think you knew who I am, right?" She didn't respond. "Jin didn't mention that you're a liar, hm?"
"What do you want?!" she asked.
I smirked, "what did you do to my friend?"
"What are you talking about?"
I slammed her door that's why she almost jumped in shock. "Don't play dumb, Aisha. Just answer my freakin' question. Don't make me do something that will ruin your face."
She looked at me, "a-ako nga may gawa no'n, bakit?"
I smiled at her with full sarcasm, "and why did you do that?"
She smiled at me too—ah, what a copy-cat. "Because I want to."
What an answer.
I grabbed her hair and she tried to fight me but I didn't let her. Inilapit ko 'yong tenga siya sa may bibig ko.
"You can't do something that may hurt someone just because you feel like doing it. Well, karma is a bitch and sooner or later, you'll be served what you deserve from what you've done to my friend." With full strength, I pushed her and she fell on the concrete floor—weak. "That's what I have to do with you for now and I'll let karma do the rest."
I turned my back on her but I remember something. I looked over my shoulder and smiled at her, "good luck."
