Water Play

"I can't believe her!"

She shouted anguishly as soon as she entered his room, stomped her way to his bed, glared at him.

"Playing that game without me, again?!" she spat as she sat on his bed. He was sitting in the floor, eyes fix on the screen, hands busy tapping his phone. He didn't answer her.

"Beshie's getting married, MARRIED! UGHH! I hate it! I hate her for not telling me right away! I hate her new boyfriend for telling her right away without sharing to me ahead!"

She ranted as she cross her arms over her chest. Though he was ignoring her. She knows he's listening..she knows it.

"OH YEAHH!" He shouted as he won the round. He plop his phone on the floor
and look back at her.

"What do you want to do then?" he asked innocently.

She squinted her eyes, "Donatooo. I feel so down. I want to stay up all night and drink."

"Okay."

/Moments later/

Shar gawk at him dumfoundedly, looking at what he had brought for her.

He sat beside her, "Shar... I'm sleeping over and... I'm your official and only drinking buddy forever."

"What is that?" She ignored him and pointed as she eyed what he got in hand.

He grinned. "You said you wanted to stay up all night and drink. I'm drinking with
you!"

He beamed as he took one can and opened it for her. Shar is flubbergasted.

"Don donny. This is caffeinated cola ."

He turned to her, "Yes, it is. Drink up!"

His eyes glinted with mischief, "There's 30 cans of it! CHEERS!"

She said that she wanted to stay up all night and drink. He gave her 30 cans of caffeinated cola and said, "Drink up."

/Next day/

"Why are you sulking?" Donny asked Shar the moment she got out of her workplace.

She look up to him and she almost sob. Donny's eyes widen as he hastily wrap an
arm around her shoulder.

"What's wrong, Shar?" He asked worriedly.
She pouted, eyes teary, and closing her fist.

"I want to shoot someone in the face! Someone texted me of how ugly I am! Wow, how perfect human are they. "

He chuckled. *How cute she is seeing her soft side and boyish side at the same time?*
Shaking his head side by side, who said she's ugly?! She's a freaking goddess! The most beautiful girl he ever laid eyes on!

He grope her shoulders and make her face him. His hands came to cup her face,
he leaned, his forehead resting on hers, his eyes meeting her confused stare.

He grinned. "Let's go home."
He said softly.

They walk pass the park, Donny paused when his eyes caught something. The girl
was still pouting and sulking, and she didn't notice him stopped.

Donny grinned as he tug on her shirt.
She look at him, puzzled.

"What?"

"Wait here and don't move an inch!"

With it, he left her confused, she followed him by her gaze.

Donny stopped in front of the kids playing near the fountain. She saw the kids nod
their heads, seemingly agreeing to him and handed him something she failed to see.
He came back running to her.

"You said you wanted to shoot someone in the face right?" He asked innocently.

"Huh?"

He grinned wider. "Give me your right hand!"

Bewildered, she still obliged. She raise her right hand ahead, smirking he took it
and place water gun he borrowed from the kids. He out her finger on the trigger,
aimed at his face and helped her pull the trigger. Then, he shoot her face with the water gun, too.

Shar's eyes widen, "What theee--!" They played and as she reached him, she raised her hand to slap him and about to shoot him more but what he said made her pause.

"You're the most beautiful woman in the world, Sharlene San Pedro. Whoever said your ugly is either blind or just jealous of your beauty."

She blinked and felt her heart hammer inside her chest, she felt blood rushed to her cheeks.

He gave her his infamous boyish grin. Butterflies flew inside her tummy, like it wanted to come out.

"Kuyaaaa."

He chuckled, she will only call him that when she's shy or embarrassed.

She said that she wanted to shoot him in the face more. He laugh, then playfully run.
