I turned the news off.

Sophia:"Shadow, huh. I bet I could get some real street cred if I took him down." I said to myself, while getting up off the couch. "I might need some backup, though. The question is, who do I ask? Ooh, wait, I know, how about her?"

MEANWHILE
Elizabeth POV
Elizabeth:"Can we please take a break."
Y/N: "Fine, but only a short one. After this we're doing combat training.
Elizabeth:"Alright"
Y/N then threw me a towel and a bottle of water.

Y/N: "Take a quick break, if you die on me I'll have worked for nothing."

Elizabeth: *sigh* " Yeah, yeah, you say that every time."

Recently Y/N has been giving me free-running lessons and occasionally, combat lessons. We practice in the city, on rooftops.
And I gotta say, there's a reason he's so a laid back. Even without his powers, he can still outrun and outfight me. I sat down on the edge of the building and took a sip of water. Then I put the cap back on the water and wiped off with the towel. I felt someone sit next to me, and turned to see Y/N.

Y/N: "Your gonna need to drink more than that if you wanna stay hydrated."

I begrudgingly took a few more small sips of the water.

Y/N sighed.

Y/N: "More. At least half the bottle"

I looked at him with a confused look.

Elizabeth: "Why does this matter so much to you?"

Y/N: "I already told you, if you die all this wa-"

Elizabeth: "That's a lie and you know it."

Y/N held up a finger to protest, but sighed and put it down.

Y/N: " It's because I feel responsible for you. You are my trainee, my protégé, and my new partner. If something happens to you, it's my fault. I became what I am because of-

He stopped

Y/N: "I just don't want someone under my protection to get hurt, okay. Even if it's just mild dehydration."

Elizabeth:"What was that you said about becoming-"

Suddenly Y/N threw a punch, Which I barely dodged.

Elizabeth:"What the hell?!!"

Y/N: "How many times do I have to tell you this, first rule of combat, always be ready fit a fight."

He got into a fighting stance and threw another punch. I blocked it then returned the favor with a quick jab at his ribs. But before my hand my contact, he grabbed my hand and pulled, then sidestepped me as I fell. I ended up on the ground, very angry.

Y/N: "You let your emotions run you. Fighting isn't about paying back each hit with another hit, or even who hits the hardest, it's about who's left standing when the dust clears."

Y/N held out his hand for me to take. I took his hand and he pulled me up. He gave me a small cocky smile then got back in a fighting stance.

Y/N: "Try again, I want you to try to be the last one standing."

I smiled and threw another punch

Headcase POV
Sophia: "So you won't do it?"

???: "If there's no cash, it's not my problem."

Sophia: "Well what if I told you that in order to get Shadows attention, we would rob a bank, and you'd get a cut of the goods."

???: "Now you have my interest."

Sophia: "The plan is simple; first, we sneak in covertly and take out any armed people. Then, you get into the safe and we grab the cash. When we leave, we'll leave a trail for shadow to follow. When he finds us, we kill him. Then we get both cash and credit."

???: "That's a good plan, but the big question is how are we splitting the cash?"

Sophia: "35 me, 65 you. I care less about the money and more about the credit."

???: "Sounds like a great plan to me."

Little does she know that I'm gonna take all the credit for both the robbery and the kill.

Sophia: "Meet me at Middletown Market tommorow at 3. Bring your gear."

???: "I'll see you there."

Sophia: "You too, Eye."
