The seven elements walk up the mountain, slowly making their way to the top. The higher they go, the colder it gets. Eventually they make it to the top where snow covers the ground.
"I'm freezing!" Neon complains.
"I can warm us up," Magnesium tells the group. The element of magnesium burns with a very bright flame, so Magnesium's power is fire. He lights himself on fire, creating warmth for the rest of the elements.
After searching for awhile, they come upon a cave that appears to be sealed shut with ice.
"I think he is hiding in there!" Cesium exclaims.
"But how do we get in there?" Radium asks. The wall of ice before them is too thick to just break away. What could the elements do?
"I have an idea!" Chlorine says. "Sodium and I can combine our powers to become Sodium Chloride and melt the ice!"
"That just might work," Neon agrees.
Sodium and Chlorine walk up to the massive wall of ice. Sodium holds onto Chlorine's hand and the two of them rest their free hand on the ice. Almost instantly, the ice begins to melt away, and after a minute or so, there is an opening large enough for all of them to fit through.
Once inside the dark cave, the elements are unable to see anything.
"It's too dark," Magnesium states. "And I can't create another flame. I'm only able to burn for so long."
"I can glow," Neon suggests.
"And I can radiate light," Radium adds.
Neon and Radium both use their powers, illuminating the dark cave. Now that the elements can see, they continue on their search, walking deeper into the cave.
