"Is she going to be okay doctor please!" I could hear my mom crying.

Everything was fuzzy and I felt really dizzy and lightheaded. I could hear muffled footsteps and rustling, after I heard a continuous beeping then a long ring Everything went black and there was just silence.

"How pathetic you couldn't even kill yourself!"

"Wow you are so useless"

I heard the voices and listened to them I started to feel pathetic and useless.

"You have no purpose in this world"

"No one will ever love you!"

"You have no friends you miserable piece of shit."

I couldn't control them, I mean it's not like I ever could.
Then My eyes slowly opened and I was in a hospital room, I looked around and saw my mom sleeping on the couch. I groaned and shifted my position, my mom sat up and looked at me her eyes all puffy.

"Your wake!" She started to cry and hugged me.

"Ow my wrists hurt."

"Do you remember?"

"Not much, what happened?"

"I found you on the bathroom floor bleeding because you slit your wrists." She said and her voice quivered

"Oh... guess you found me in time." I said

"Why would you try and kill your self?!" She started to get mad.

"The voices mom, THE FREAKING VOCIES TOLD ME TO!" I started to yell

"Don't yell at me!" She looked down "I'm sorry I was just asking"

"No I'm sorry I shouldn't have yelled" I looked at her and lowered my head, "please forgive me"

"It's okay, but why would you listen to them?"

"Because what they say is true and they just take over my mind, mom I'm scared I don't know what to do." I started to cry

"It's okay darling we will get you a therapist, and get you some help"

I just nodded

could a therapist really help I thought to myself. I felt defeated how could I let them beat me.

A few minutes passed then the doctor walked in.

"Oh your wake, thats good" he looked at my mom "I have some good news, you can go home today but you have to get help."

"Yes I made an appointment with a therapist for her." My mom said

"Okay then I just need you to sign these discharge papers and you may be on your way." He said and handed my mom a clip board.

I slowly sat up and looked at the floor the shook my head. My mom signed the papers then handed them back to the doctor. I stood up and looked at my wrists, they were in bandages.

"Do I have stitches?" I said still looking at them

"Yes you will have to come back in 7 days to get them removed." He said

"Okay thanks, Do I have to clean them?"

"Keep them dry for 48 hours then you can wash around them, but keep them covers to avoid dirt build up." He said

I nodded and he walked out I picked up my clothes from the chair and walked into the bathroom. I got dressed and walked out, my mom was ready with her purse. She looked at me weird.
