Together Through Thick and Thin

Chapter 9

Lucy's POV

I felt my children crash into me the minute the air from inside the guild floated outside. I quickly picked them up with ease, giving them a strong loving hug and a peck on the cheek before putting them back down. Juvia's children still ran up but hugged their mother warmly, letting her crouch down and kiss them on the cheeks and murmur warm cheesy things. "Why are your kids so calm!?" I asked her, as Luke and Nashi began fighting. Juvia let out a small laugh as Siliva walked over to them, trying to diffuse their fight. Linna was behind her and stared coldly, her long silver hair (black at the roots) kept in a messy bun behind her head. She wore it like that at the party and liked it too much to change it, much to Nashi's displeasure. The pinkette loved her friend's long hair - often jealous that hers always stopped growing when it reached shoulder length. "Stop fighting please!" Silvia squeaked before coughing, to which Linna handed her some water. I had no clue where she got it from, as she was an Ice mage, contrasting to her sister's water magic. 

Luna and Storm both walked out with their fathers behind them. "Off somewhere?" Brandish mused to the two of them. They nodded and muttered a few words, before heading off into the town. Aki and Justin both rushed out behind them, yelling wait as they ran. They seemed to be racing to catch up and I saw a flicker of movement. Luna was in Storm's arms as he ran off, chased by a yelling pair of boys. I let out a small sigh as we walk into the guildhall. Rose and Nova were talking at the bar with smoothies in their hands, while Skylar and Nashi ran circles around each other. Luke had run off with the other boys and Lina and Silvia were practising magic near Wave (Edo. Juvia) and Star. The Edolas versions of us weren't really paying attention to them as they drank. Most of the Edo. guildmembers tended to act weird sometimes. I guess they aren't used to our world's magic... even after all these years. Juvia ran off towards Lady Blanc at the bar and started talking to her. I saw that Sky, Princess and Azul were out on a job, same with some of the other boys. I turned back to Minerva and Yukino. "They are from Edolas, so is Vermillion," I say pointing to a few of the people there. "Anyway, we start training soon, but we'll build upon each other's magic before you start learning new things! Course, we cant teach you everything, so like the other Hearts - you'll have a main magic." My hand extended as different coloured heart-shaped gems floated above it. I pointed with my other hand to a mint green one. "Take Brandish, the matter heart, she controls things using Command T - making that her main magic. Vermillion, the Sheild Heart, is a knight equip user - making that her main magic. The list goes on and on," I remove the illusion as Juvia walks back with Lady Blanc. 

After all the introductions, Blanc put their Alverz marks on them - in the same places and the same colour. "I'll train Yukino and you have Minerva," I asked Juvia, she merely nodded and took the tanned mages hand as they stepped through a portal. I felt a burst of anger but smothered it as I turned to Yukino. "Dont worry, I'll make you the best Celestial mage ever!" I jump onto her, hugging her tight. She looked shock for a moment but then looked at me, "Thank you, so much Lucy-san."
