Chapter 14

Juvia's POV

I watched them run and laugh and play, "Kids are so sweet." I mused happily. I took a bite of some blueberry cake, Lucy eating a strawberry one. We occasionally fed each other our one, for fun and because we ask. I know Lucy loves me, it's pretty obvious, but I know that if I confess she'll hold it over me and I don't want that. Besides, she needs to get over this obstacle herself, and quick because I know our kids are plotting something. Silvia, Linna, Nashi and Luke are sitting on the blanket and playing a game called 'Uno'. It was this new release to appeal to kids while the world advances. I lean on Lucy and she immediately becomes bright red, she's just to cute.

I can't resist and poke her nose, which makes her so flushed I think I'm staring at someone's hair. I think back to that night, when we talked to our children's 'fathers'. With a groan, it all rushes back to me. I think it went well....

I walked forward with a smile and touched his shoulder calmly, swivelling him around as he placed down his drink. It shattered on the floor and I repaired it so fast the sound didn't even reach our ears. He grumbled at me, "Do you need something? You and your sadistic girlfriend already won, so there's no need to gloat." I look at him with confusion before realising he means Lucy. "She's not my girlfriend, but I do want to tell you about two ex guild members of yours." I announce as Lucy and Natsu were in a sudden fist fight. The blonde is yelling about how she had just wanted some food and the salamander is instantly reprimanded. I hide a smile as Lucy dusts herself off and is fretted over by Irene.

Gray let's out an ugly groan as he watches. "What old guild mates? You mean Juvia and Lucy? What about them?" He pours himself another drink and I quickly realise that he's going to get what's coming to him anyway. "They've sided with powerful forces, any god can't save you know, because the black wizard will smite all of Fairy Tail before the end of this year if you don't repent." I breathe and as quickly as I came, vanished into the crowd.

I let out a satisfied breath as I look up at Lucy's face, her golden hair tickling my skin. She and I look at the kids and an overwhelming power runs through me. Truth potion... that's what they wanted! I realise with a sudden shock. They're very smart. The kids are clearly listening in as they've put a truth spell into the food! "How do you feel about me?" Lucy asked as our eyes met again, she was bright red in the face but the spell seemed to have other plans instead of keeping quiet. I smile and put up a barrier to block out the scene. With sudden force, I kiss her on the lips while sinking into her hug. "Glad to see you feel the same way, now want to go home and kick the crap out of them for doing this." Lucy glared malevolently at them. I chuckled softly and stared at the kids too. "I'll watch, and we can ground them for life later."
